sturdy for a standing bag

This was purchased for use as a workout accessory for a female. I put 250lbs of sand in it based on other reviews that it was better than water. So far so good, the sand is heave and keeps it from moving when hit. If a man was hitting it at full force I do not think it will last as long as it would for a female or younger adults/kids.

Good workout punching bag

I bought this product to get a cardio workout, plus to strenghthen my punches. It does both wonderfully! I would suggest to skip filling it with water. Just makes a mess every time punched. Put 8 bags of sand in it,(I put mine outside, bringing in top padded part when not in use, and a tarp strapped to base when not in use, for weather protection), and it gives me all of the workout I can handle. So far it's a great product. Tighten all top bolts down after a hard workout though, they do work loose. Other than that, go buy one soon.

Did not come with instructions so I used YouTube to ensure I assembled it correctly. Pretty good for a cardio/boxing workout but I can tell durability might be an issue. From one use, one screw popped out from the base so expect to tighten screws regularly. Otherwise, decent bag and the size makes it easier to place in small spaces. 

Note: I am an average sized female without fighting experience

This thing MIGHT be ok for kids, but I've used this thing 3 times now, and it's totally broken. I mean it's supposed to be made for punching but as you can see it can't hold up.

Useless for adults

Probly not for adults, wish i would have read reviews.  Plastic column that the “bag” (dense foam that breaks apart) cracked in half after 30 minutes of absorbing punches.

i bought this as a christmas gift for my 14 year old son. We put it together last weekend and it already broke. How does something that is supposed to be able to be punched by a grown man get broken by being punched by a 14 year old I'll never know. So i tried to get a replacement but "they dont do that" i would have to return it in a box and since i dont have the original box i would have to purchase a huge box and return it. This was a complete waste of my money! Dont be like me and waste your money on something thats not going to hold up! If i could leave zero stars i would

piece of junk dont waste your money

Bought this for my son, filled the base with the water what you have to do and I hit it three times and it cracked. It is complete garbage. I should have read the reviews. It was a pain to return because we had to empty the base of all the water that we had put in it. it is absolute cheap garbage!

Don't waste your money

It was absolutely ridiculous to set up the screws strip. The device requires sandbags or filled up with water. Of all the purchases that I bought from Walmart, this was the absolute worst. I need to buy a dolly to move it. That's how heavy it was gonna be, it didn't come with gloves it was just a mess I returned it. The nails or bolts whatever you wanna call it when you put in the second level is supposed to absorb the shocks of the punches but the nails. BUT they don't screw in all the way evenly, easily or do they come out with ease. So as it sustains punches, it slowly loosen those screws and guess what they're difficult to get in and out so if you wanna change it, you're gonna have a problem it's gonna be virtually impossible.

Do not,  just pay more for something better.
