I was pleasantly surprised that these pony tail elastics didn't tangle up in my hair. They were strong enough to hold braids but flexible as well. I got the clear elastics which worked perfectly to "disappear". I liked that there were many sizes in the pack.

I used these to style my sons 4c hair and they started breaking within the hour. Super annoying because he does not have the patience for me to constantly replace them. I don’t even know what makes them break. Do not buy!

These are the worst. They slowly disintegrate throughout the day, regardless of how loose you try to leave them, don't mess with them. I hate them so much

As so many have stated, these break way too easily. I spent a whole day redoing hair (thankfully I had brought the bag with me) as they kept breaking. Incredibly disappointing. Do not buy!

Like many others have said, these break very easily. As in, they couldn’t hold together for 8 hours of my office job with no movement, touching, or strain on the bands. I didn’t even wrap them tightly because I was concerned about them breaking. They also sort of melt together in the package over time (and it takes a while to use up 300 elastics) so you have to peel them apart to use them which probably contributes to the breaking. It’s difficult to see in the photo because mine are clear but there are 3 elastics stuck to the two I’m actually holding. Save your money and buy basically anything else!

Awful. Break only a few hours into wearing the hairstyle. It’s been so so bad. I never leave reviews but today was finally the day where it just got so annoying. Would not recommend!!

These are horrible. I spent two hours on my hair and they were snapping several minutes after I left for work. These do not hold and are pathetically weak. It was the big ones breaking too not even the little ones. And I wasn’t putting much hair into them as my hairstyle required small sections. DO NOT waste your money on these. Buy the matte ones from a different brand and save yourself time and money. SO dissatisfied and disappointed.

I didn’t have issues with breakage but my god they are SO difficult to get out of my daughter’s hair! Like way more difficult than others I’ve tried. Also agree with others that there’s a disproportionate number of really large ones.

These are exactly what I need for my thick hair. The package arrived so quickly.

Disproportionate amount of the giant ones. Only needed the small. Pic for size reference and the package is with all of the small ones removed. Package is mostly large ones which are not even usable for me. Can't comment on quality. Haven't used them yet but don't have high hopes.

I can really only get one good use out of them because by the second time they snap by the second wear.

I have bought these exact ties several times over the last few years and have been satisfied until my most recent pack, which I bought about 6 months ago and use a tie from 3-4 times per week. The quality has decreased significantly (and the price has gone up, of course). These ties now break in the middle of the day as I’m wearing them. I work a fairly low movement job and am walking around or sitting at a computer and these will snap in the middle of the day and hit people I’m in the room with. And it’s while I’m sitting still, not because of some crazy movement or something hitting my head. I thought it could be that I was accidentally slicing them as I initially stretched them to put them on but have tried several ways of putting them on and nothing fixes it. Wearing more or less hair in the tie or wearing it looser or tighter doesn’t make any difference, and I’d say about 1 in 4 ties breaks. I also recently bought a pack of regular hair ties from this brand and they keep snapping as I go to put my hair up. I do have thick hair but it’s never been a “snap-3+-ties-per-week” issue before this. I feel like this brand has sold out since being purchased by conair and will not be buying their products again.

I’ve tried to purchase these for a second time hoping that my first purchase of them I just got a pack of flukes. Nope, they just do not work. They are stretch but have no hold as they will break in the minutes following tying them into your hair. All of the various sizes break without fail. Skip these and buy better ones.

Absolute waste of money. They break while wearing them. I thought maybe I was wearing them too tight but they break even when I have them lose.

It’s small item but great for people who have short hair and need to do some kind of ponytail and such.
