    I am 70, and have never had any wrinkles until recently, where I noticed a cluster of them at the top of my cheekbone, next to my eye. I wear a cpap machine at night and I think what the mask does to my face is the issue. In any case, I have been using this for about 2.5 months, and that spot has softened, tremendously and is not a twisted patch of wrinkles, any longer. I was hoping it would take some dark, freckle-like spots away, but, no such luck. They are very dark. Overall, I am pleased, will just try something else for my spots.

    Paula's Choice RESIST Triple Active Total Repair

    This serum arrived wrapped in plastic and there was a clear “Paula’s Choice Skincare” label connecting the bottle to the cap as an additional seal. The 1 fl oz /30 ml blue and white bottle is protective (opaque) and has a good pump with a clear cap that snaps into place.

    I knew I was going to like this gentle serum after the first application as there was no scent, it was a pleasure to apply, there was no tackiness, and my skin immediately felt good. Sometimes you just know. The white serum is lightweight and absorbed quickly. Two full pumps easily covered my face (including the undereye area) and neck. I’ve been using this on a clean face, twice a day, for over two weeks. I have acne-prone, combination skin and my skin really liked this serum. That first gut reaction turned out to be true. I didn’t experience any irritation, redness, or spots while using it.

    The “triple-action” ingredients are well described in the listing: .4% hexylresorcinol (for skin brightening), 5% niacinamide/vitamin B3 (4 to 5% is the right concentration for anti-aging benefits and is “anti-acne”), and .3% retinyl propionate (a retinol ester which is a gentler alternative to retinol). All great ingredients and no “nasties”. The three key ingredients work well together while still being a gentler serum. SPF 30 (or more) should be used after this during the day.

    Cruelty-Free and Leaping Bunny Certified. An icon tells me the serum will be good for 12 months after opening, and the label on the plastic wrap had EXP: 02/2025 on it. Formulated and manufactured in the USA.

    I had such high hopes when I purchased the 5 step Resist skin care regimen. I was looking to minimize my pores, diminish fine lines, improve skin texture and hydrate. Instead, this product clogged my pores, irritated my skin, worsened the texture of my skin and stripped my skin of moisture! It's going right back along with rest of the Resist line. I know have to see a dermatologist and have facials to repair the damage done! Which is not cheap!
