for somebody who doesn't like having eyelashes messed with, this is the best mascara I've ever bought. I used to purchase the too faced "better than sex" mascara, but in comparison to quality and price, essence is hands down better in the long run.
I had a period of using fake eyelashes bc my own wouldn't have as much volume, and I was never really satisfied with results of other mascaras. I was stuck in a loop because I'd wear the eyelashes, but then I'd lose my eyelashes so I'd continue to wear them. I was weary on this mascara and I thought "this is too good to be true", and I'm so glad that I made my first purchase because it's exactly what I need to have the "false eyelash". it's not clumpy, it's not tedious to remove, it gives me volume without going over the top, and it gives a very natural look. now if you're somebody who tends to go to bed without washing it off first, the next day it will look different because of the mascara staying on overnight, even after washing your face. so my advice is to make sure you clean your face and eyes as much as you can, and then the next day, it'll be easy to apply and just as you'd like it.
I don't tend to write reviews as often as I should, but this is the truest review you'll ever read about the product. I'm not sure who discovered this brand of mascara and helped it grow to be so popular, but THANK YOU, YOU ARE A HERO!

AWESOME BUDGET FRIENDLY MASCARA!
My favorite mascara! I have short stubby eye lashes and this mascara makes me look like I actually have lashes! It’s not clumpy and goes on nicely! It does a nice job at separating my lashes too bc they seem to want to group together. Cute bottle and very budget friendly! Check out my before and after! (After is just of one coat…no combing out, no eyelash curler just the mascara!
