This curl conditioner is thick and creamy. It looks like it should work to keep your hair moisturized. However, it only keeps it conditioned for maybe 3 hours. I was in very hot heat and my hair tangled back up and feels dry to the touch. It has oil in it but this product is drying, making your hair more brittle in the long run. At first though it does a great job making it easier to comb through when first putting it on your hair. You may want to have a back up plan or a spray bottle of water and this conditioner or an oil.
