My dermatologist recommended Cerave products when they were first developed. I have stuck with them ever since and have never been disappointed. This sun screen stands out as it also contains a moisturizer (hyaluronic) which is used in most of their products. I have never experienced any sensitivity.
The product is somewhat liquid but spreads on smoothly on both my face and hands. I usually just rub it on before leaving the house. I will need to ask my dermatologist how it's best to layer it when I use another moisturizer, foundation and powders.

Great sunscreen without the white cast for Black people
I did research thoroughly for an affordable yet effective sunscreen. I know that zinc oxide and titanium are key ingredients to get the protection I needed, but was very concerned with the white cast. I’m Black and so black girl sunscreen 50 was my first and thought best pick as a hybrid but I’ve used it a couple months, and just couldn’t get over the lavender scent. I decided to do a little more research and came across this one, which is also a hybrid and a little more zinc oxide coverage. I’ve used it for a couple days now and my skin loves it! It rubs in well, no white cast, mild scent (preferred over lavender) and excellent coverage. Thank you Cera Ve
