I purchased the AHC Toner as a needed component of my skin care regimen. I wasn't happy with current toner. I am a skeptical shopper and decided to purchase and compare two hyaluronic toners with AHC being my most expensive. The second toner is from a well established "all natural" brand with a price point of about $6.00. I have sensitive, excema prone skin and have lived in the sun for 60+ years. I was trying to convince myself I didn't have to spend a lot to purchase a successful product. I was wrong in this situation. The less expensive toner (it advertised having hyaluronic acid and its' benefits) provided some relief and the bottle was at least twice the size of the AHC. I found it to be more of a "spritzer" toner for use maybe at the beach. The AHC was hands down very moisturizing. I loved everything about it and resigned myself to the higher price tag. The method of using your fingers for application is truly more economical than wasting it on a cotton ball. My skin is actually "relieved" when I use it which is about 4+ times a day. First thing I do when I awaken is splash the AHC on my face. I also use it after a sun burn. Face texture is much softer and happier. I have used less than an eighth of the bottle in a month. Good choice.

Great toner but let down by poor retail packaging
Ok, the retail box this toner comes in, is not the be all and end all of the product itself but when giving as a gift (this is a Christmas present for my wife), you would expect the packaging not to look a bit tatty. Putting the box aside, well into the recycling, the container has as genuinely nice blue/green tone and a slightly innovative screw-top lid, that is shaped off-round. The lid and bottle blend together nicely, to give a premium look and feel. Unscrew the lid and there is a plastic dispenser on top, that, when you shake the bottle, drops will come out.
Fragrance wise, it is quite natural and fresh. Certainly not overpowering nor understated, A nice balance. The main active ingredients are French Sea Water & Ceramides to help maintain a barrier for moisture to stay locked in. It also has three Hyaluronic acid to beat dryness.
As this is a Christmas present for my wife, which she is yet to receive, I thought I would give it a go from a mans perspective. Particularly as I get dry areas around my nose from wearing glasses. I only used a small amount, and it was light and easily absorbed into my skin. No greasy residue. Left my face feeling refreshed. The smell was not off putting. Nice.
I think this is a nice product and the price seems to be reasonable, just let down by the packaging.

Directions:
After cleansing, dispense 4-6 drops onto a cotton pad or in hands. Gently apply the toner along the facial contours. Lightly pat the skin with fingertips for about 1 minute until the toner is absorbed.
