I really loved the previous version and bought it religiously. I tried the newest version and am really unhappy with it. The fragrance is no where near as appealing as the former AND it doesn't hydrate my skin as well. I actually had flaky skin immediately after the shower, which never occurred before. I'm really bummed that I'm going to have to try to find another body wash that I'll like as much. Unfortunately, you've lost a loyal customer.

SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Hydrating Body Wash has been my only body wash for about a year and a half. It is super moisturizing and nonirritating. I have very sensitive, dry skin and this body wash is perfect for me. It also has a wonderful, earthy scent that I just love!

i would love to give this a higher rating for the ingredients, how easy it is to pick up from most retailers, + i’ve honestly LOVED other body washes from this brand. BUT i cannot - CANNOT deal with this smell. literally had me gagging in the shower.

This is a recommendation from my mom who has extremely dry skin. She’s tried so many other brands but this is the only body wash that has worked for her dryness. She says she doesn’t even need to use lotion after a shower!

This is a great body wash. I have dry skin and all others I’ve tried really strip my skin from moisture. This one does not do that. It does have a sort of funky smell to it but the smell doesn’t linger so I don’t mind it.

I love the Raw Shea Butter scent in SheaMoisture's Body Wash but it is not good enough for my sensitive skin. Sadly, I have very sensitive and dry skin. I feel irritated when I use it after getting out of the shower but this has happened before with other organic or inorganic products I've tried. Also, I like the fact that this brand was previously Copper Colored Owned but foreigners bought it.

I have incredibly dry skin. I have been searching up and down for a good moisturizing body wash and this is the one! Keeps my skin from getting dry, and smells amazing. Not sure why people complain about the consistency of it, it’s a liquid soap. It’s going to be runny. It’s not thick at all, and you don’t have to use a ton of it to get a good lather which I like.

Everyone is talking about how it’s “runny” but it’s really not. And also fyi when your body wash is thick it means there is more chemicals in it to make it thick. And if you’re choosing this brand it usually means you’re going for a more natural product. Btw this stuff smells amazing and leaves an amazing after smell

This is the only body wash I can use in the winter that doesn’t leave my skin dry but also creates a good amount of suds. So you actually feel like you’re getting clean. No weird smell or residue.

I’ve used this for years and have gotten several compliments on the light fragrance. For those that are unhappy with the consistency, I’ve found that shaking the bottle before each use mixes it up so it’s thicker but yes the consistency isn’t going to be thick due to the oils in the product.
