i have been looking for a good quick drying top coat so i can do my nails myself and save money. until i used this top coat i didnt think you could have long lasting manicures without getting gel nails which destroy make my nails thin and weak and gave me allergies. the shine also didnt last with any other top coat i used. it’s been 6 days since i used this and my nails are still shiny. today is the first day that i have noticed big chips in my nails, but it’s only on two fingers. it also dries in 10 mins which is perfect because i have no patience. i am getting just as many compliments on my nails as i do when i get them done professionally. i am never going to get my nails done at a salon again unless it is for a special occasion.

This smooths out any flaws. I love this. This is my 2nd time buying. It lasted about 10 months used almost weekly with very thick coats. It helps my manicure last longer. About 5 to 6 days with normal wear and tear house duties and mom responsibilities. I use it with OPI nail polish and this time I just tried it with Sally Hansen. I use OPI base coat as well and it's still long lasting. I let this dry in the sun and it dries really fast! Easy to remove too, regular nail polish remover does the job.

I am the type of person who never bother with professional manicures because I end up with chips by the end of day 1. This nail polish does exactly what it says it does. It has great staying power. The topcoat is quick drying so it makes it even easier to make it past the drying phase. When it does chip, which for me happens around the 1 week mark, it doesn't start domino effect chipping. When it chips, it stops, doesn't progress until you have a huge area of missing polish. It's almost like if pantyhose were to stop running. Then, with the smallish chip, you can easily touch it up, good as new. I have gotten the polish to last 2 weeks like this.

Buuuuuut.... Have you ever heard about how if it seems to good to be true...? Exactly the case here. I wore the polish pretty consistently for perhaps 6 weeks, with a few days off in between. When I took it off for more than a few days, I realized that my nails were very damaged. Before having kids, I had horrible, thin nails. That is nothing compared to what's going on now. Immediately, I could see that my nails were dry. They LOOKED dry. Then they started sort of peeling at the tips. Then they got very brittle. You know how sometimes when you hit your nail straight on, straight down, and you end up with a bend that's a bid like a half moon, like there was a fault line and it cracked right at that point? That has been happening all over the place. I feel like I have osteoporosis of the nails!! It has been perhaps 2-3 months and my nails are still far from recovered. My nails are extremely short, not because I've filed them like that, but because they break off before they can grow. I don't know how long it will take to recover. I couldn't imagine that the damage would be bad enough to swear me off of this polish but it certainly has. I will never use it again. It bums me out because it worked so well. I recommended it to lots of friends. But the damage is too much to justify using it even one more time.

So sad that this didn't work out.
