Sis!!!! I was holding my breath when my boots arrived. I have not found or been able to wear any boots for years. In fact, the only pair I did have (for over 7 years seriously) finally ripped on the front. When these boots slipped on my foot like a regular shoe should, I thought, "so far so good", when I zipped up my boots over these gloriously thick calves....I started dancing and laughing and "struttin" up and down the hall. I will most definitely buy again as I MUST have these in black too! Very comfy inside, nice sturdy heel to go from office to evening fun. Size is pretty accurate, (I wear a 10 but ordered an 11 so I can wear thick socks if it's cold). This boot stays in place and the ankle fits nice, loose enough, but not saggy. They have a good look for the price so you don't feel like you settled. The search is over. Girl, stop reading and order these boots.

I ordered several different pair of Luoika boots...

First, the 420 boot in 11xw. These boots are as wide-calved as advertised, big enough to fit around my 20" calves with a little room for tucking in jeans or leggings. If you have calves 20" or larger you should definitely give these a try...but I am sending them back because the back seam juts out a little before coming back tighter toward the top, leaving a very weird looking bump on the back of the calf. In my opinion, even a wide calf boot should be smooth all the way around and up the leg. Other than that they are very nice.

The dark gray 401 in the same size has a bette4r cut and lies smooth around my leg, so those I will be keeping. They are dark gray only because they are a black suede and black suede is never truly black.

The 413 are now my official favorite go-to boots. I grab them before all the rest. If you are looking to get just one boot, I would try the 413's.
