For those new to using Bakuchiol or those with sensitive skin, we recommend testing the product on a small area before full application or starting with every-other-day usage.

WHAT TO EXPECT: While structurally different to Retinol, Bakuchiol induces similar gene expression to Retinol - which means they offer the same benefits, however, Bakuchiol is much gentler on the skin. If you’re new to this or any ingredient for that matter, we recommend patch testing on a small area of the skin or considering every other night application versus daily.
