West German fat lava vase, made by Ruscha Keramik. As my friend Lewis notes, there is something very special about this piece. Not just the elegance of form, but it’s wonderfully subtle glaze - with specks and dots of blue breaking through the rich black fat lava glaze. The imp of Yves Klein is at work!

HEIGHT: 18 cm

MARKINGS: 302 is moulded on the underside of the vase.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with cracks, chips or repairs.
