I've been a long time fan of Govee as they produce quality products which are very easy to setup and a super user friendly app interface for additional (and in my opinion essential) features. I love that there is a graphical representation for scheduled automated tasks such as turning on and off the humidifier.
This product was initially purchased due to the impressive 4L reservoir, built-in low water turn off feature, and the quality brand. What I didn't realize was just how easy it was to clean and refill.
It's essential 2 main parts, the reservoir and base which has a cleaning tool built-in to the design for easy storage so you don't lose it because it is small. It also has a UV light that can be turned on to kill/prevent bacterial growth from forming and being aerosolized which is awesome (the UV light not the aerosolization of bacteria)! The reservoir has a super convenient ledge/handle for holding while you refill the tank, which doesn't leak when filling despite being separated from the base, and two independent mist-directing holes that can be rotated 360°. I keep the humidifier a few feet behind my couch on a counter with the two dispenser heads aimed to the sides to increase coverage while reducing direct blow over furniture. I use it to help keep my air passages moisturized and open where I spend most of my time, the living room.
Additionally, the app works seamlessly with Google home and if very easy to setup. I can also use simple voice commands like "turn on humidifier". I get alerts on my phone telling me if the water is low the first time and any time I try to use it and it's low which is great for keeping the motor from burning out. I can visually see the amount in the reservoir using the viewing window on the side but why do that if it's going to tell me via the app? It links with the humidity monitors and can be automated to turn on or off the humidifier at set levels ie: turn on humidifier if humidity reaches 25% and off if 60%. It should be obvious but having the humidity reader too far or too close to the humidifier causes an issue of accuracy. In my case I have a humidity reader 10ft away with a couch and table littered with books and papers in a large kitchen and living room area which reads about 5 to 8 levels below the one built-in to the base of the device.
TLDR: If you are looking for a large volume quality humidifier that's easy to maintain and refill which can be controlled via the app or set on a schedule then look no further!

- Please check if the float can move normally when the humidifier is operating in a low temperature environment. Otherwise, the water may overflow from the base chamber.

Learning curve but works great
Needed a solution to replace my manual mini humidifiers once I knew I was going on a 10 day trip. I have calatheas, a begonia, peperomia and maranta that crave humidity so this was a must while gone for so long. This tank is great and lasts a while! I left on a Tuesday and by Friday afternoon received an empty tank notification from the Govee app while all the way in Central America. Asked someone to come by my place and refill it with jugs of distilled I left out. They easily refilled it, pressed the power button for me and I could see that the humidifier was back on again through the app. My plants have been so happy and are growing so quickly with this humidifier compared to the manual mini humidifiers I had running from last summer to this spring. The plants on the other side of this same room are also doing well with the increased humidity levels. This smart humidifier helped me cut down from 3 mini humidifiers running in different areas of the room to only 1. The app was a bit hard to navigate because some settings were premade and understanding which ones to undo and which to add was trial and error. Attached are pics of my settings. Turns on daily between 9am-5pm, kept on level 3. Runs out of water every 4-4.5 days. Humidity kept around 40-55%. Uses about 1.5 gallons of distilled water every refill. I clean the tank about once a month.

Surprised this humidifier is awesome
Edit: august 2022 - shame this item is out of stock still love it would’ve liked to buy another one for this winter as it’s awesome! Notified when empty and reminded me to clean it. Also let me turn it on and off from upstairs as I have tendon injuries. For winter time in my open plan 2 story house I did need to use two humidifiers on main floor to keep it at 50 humidity. I wouldn’t trust the sensor on the actual device though I’d invest in the Govee Bluetooth device that tells you temperature and humidity as it’s more accurate. Once It wasn’t as cold this thing literally kept the house at 50 by it’s self! Definitely a power house….. —— Was hesitant to buy it because it had 0 reviews but first time I’ve taken a chance on something and I’m very happy with it. Works really well and doesn’t make anything wet. The rbg feature tho doesn’t go through all the colours you get to pick one. But not a big deal and it doesn’t leak !J TSurprised this humidifier is awesome
