Amazing
I officially LOVE this thing.Yes, it makes noise. What would you expect from a blender?? It makes less noise than my Ninja and is easier to clean.Purchased to make cream for my mother who can't drink her coffee without it. It works like a dream. It takes me less than 15 min to make a pint of cashew cream for her and it tastes great. Haven't tried the heated settings yet. That's next on the list. Two minutes to clean and we're all set.Highly recommend. If you're on the fence, buy it!

I initially loved this machine!! I’m a HUGE proponent of homemade everything, controlling ingredients, etc. This machine was so handy and simple-I made various nut milks (only) approx. 2-3x/week, as needed, in 1 cup increments to add to our coffee or smoothies. Nothing fancy, and used as instructed. I immediately cleaned it out each time, per instructed. I’ve had this machine for 4 months. Recently, I began a new cycle to make a 1 cup serving of cashew milk. The machine programmed and started as usual, but suddenly, after 30 seconds or so, shut down completely. I have tried everything and cannot get it to turn back on. I immediately troubleshooted first, then contacted the help email at Nutr. It has now been a couple weeks and I’ve had to re-email them (no phone number of any kind anywhere on the website!!) multiple times to no avail. They have not responded to any of my emails. I’m super frustrated that this machine stopped working after only 4 months of low to moderate use!! For what I paid for this (at the time), upwards of $170…this should never have happened. And if it did, the company should at least be accessible to help resolve it. I miss my nut milk maker so badly but refuse to pay for another one until I can get some resolution with Nutr.
    Update: Oct 23, 2023:
After waiting a few weeks, I finally heard back from customer service. It was much too long for a response, but I'm glad they finally did, and were very helpful with guiding me through a claims process. I had to go back and forth a few times, sending a video to show how the machine had malfunctioned, as well as all of my purchase information, which is standard procedure. Once I did all of that, they were able to submit a claim and replace my Nutr machine with a new one. I'm hopeful that it will continue to work as well as my previous one prior to shutting down. Fingers crossed. But overall, I'm happy they stepped up and took care of the issue for me.

Worked very well until it died after a few months of use, not even using it every day or more than once a day. I was beyond the 90 day warranty. Company now offers a year warranty. There are other reviews here like this one. I think what happened is the company knew they had a problem with the motor, fixed it enough so that they now feel confident to offer a year warranty. But that doesn't help those of us who bought what ended up being a worthless machine and were out of luck when it died right after the warranty period. So there are a group of unlucky people who bought the machine most likely to save money on store bought plant-based milk and ended up paying $160 to produce a small number of servings of nut milk. It is a shame that Nutr feels it is OK to disregard our experience and insist that their hands are tied by their policy. Either you stand by your product or you don't. Don't hide behind your "policy." Could it be that the number of customers who ended up with a dead motor be in the 1000s+? That would be quite expensive to make things right with all of them. But it is the honest and ethical thing to do. If I was given a new machine with an improved motor, of course I would use it. I loved this product until it became worthless.

This is a powerful and extremely useful machine. It makes very little pulp or Okara meaning most of the nutrients are in the end product that we consume. The options are only limited by our imagination and the amount of ingredients you have on hand.

However it only has the capacity to make one to two cups at a time and if pushed it will overflow so you have to be careful. Even plain water can bubble and spill out of the pour spout if filled to the max line.

It seems to function best if I place the lid on last which gives an E2 reading and beeps because it will not start without the lid being on. At that point you can gently tap the entire button to toggle through the menu options. Once the setting that you want blinks you stop pressing the button and it starts within a few seconds.

That being said, I am still thrilled with the purchase even in lieu of its 8 to 12 ounce capacity and quirky start. It’s made for small batches of delicious healthy plant milk and can also double as a latte machine because the milk comes out frothy and creamy. It does the work of a powerful blender with the benefit of reaching a very high temperature, 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

Making almond milk from this machine ended up being more work than I anticipated, but it hasn't stopped me from using it. I have made almond, cashew, oat, and barley milk so far and all have come out very tasty. My favorite has been 1.5 cups of water with 4 Tbs almond, 1 Tbs cashew, 1 date, and a dash of salt. So yummy!

Capacity: It can make up to 1.5 cups at one time and instructions limit to 2 cycles at a time before rest is required (I think it is 1 hour rest).

Power: When making almond milk, I have found some bigger pieces in the machine that I'm sure would not be there with a more powerful machine (that also costs much more).

Noise: It's a bit noisy, but it's blending something relatively hard so my guess is that other products are of a similar noise level.

Filter: The filter provided does not produce smooth milk if making almond milk. If you filter it twice as others have mentioned, I don't feel it would make much of a difference. The holes in the filter are just too large to get all the 'grit' out. If you want smooth milk you should get a nut milk bag. I found that the filter provided works fine for oat and cashew milk as the nuts grind up better.

Cleaning: You cannot take this machine apart at all to clean and the machine 'forbids' you to get the bottom wet. However, I have found it relatively easy to clean if I rinse it out right after use. I do not add anything else to my milk other than nuts/oats/grains and dates. So if you are using something like honey or powders, it may be a bit more difficult to clean? There is a cleaning mode that will self clean with the addition of soap and water.

Ultimately, I'm happy with this machine for the cost and size and happy that I am making my own mylk!

Not a legit company!! My machine stopped working after 6 weeks and I have had no response from customer service after multiple attempts. I was very excited when I ordered this product. I purchased the nutr after much research for nut milk machines and chose the nutr for several reasons. One of the reasons was their 1 year warranty and another was because it had a delayed start feature. The machine just stopped working after 6 weeks (used it once a day) and the delayed feature had never worked. I had followed the instructions for use meticulously because I wanted this machine to last. After it stopped working I contacted their customer support (support@thenutr.com) multiple times over several weeks and have had no reply. I do, however, continue to receive messages from that same email address (support@thenutr,com) with promotions. I was reading on line that the company may have gone out of business so I decided to test it by trying to order another product. I created the order but didn't complete it. Shortly after that I received an email from their customer support asking if everything was okay because i didn't complete the order and did i need assistance. I took that opportunity to ask about their warranty and how it is honoured. I received no response and that was a week ago. When I originally received the product I was impressed with the look and feel of the machine, except for the cheap plastic strainer they substituted for the stainless steel strainer that was advertised. I'm now extremely disappointed because these machines are expensive. The machine I purchased was defective and they will not honour their warranty. The customer support is bogus, so beware.
