Wore these shoes to Skellig Michael in ireland!
These shoes are great to wear and helped me survive 7+ days in Europe. Those whom have traveled to Europe know how uneven the grounds and road can be and how quickly the weather can change. These shoes were my go-to and all I wore since they were so versatile. So I did A LOT of walking in them. Hours and hours on end.Just like any other shoe, it takes some time to break in but once they are, they're pretty comfortable, stay secure, and breathable overall. They have survived all types of uneven grounds, rocky roads, gravel roads, dirt roads on a farm, walking in a city, rainy weather, cold weather, hot and humid weather, bus rides, you name it. Never had any issue and the drizzle mint is a good color. Not clunky or bulky either which is a bonus. And they were easy to pack in my travel cube shoe bag.The picture shown is from Skellig Michael in ireland where you're hiking up over 600+ uneven stairs up a mountain in the middle of nowhere but surrounded by the Atlantic ocean. You could easily fall off of the cliff if you weren't paying attention. These shoes helped me stay balanced and comfy during this hike. 10/10

I needed waterproof shoes for the winter. Finding comfortable shoes is difficult for me because I have a wide foot. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 based on the brand. I wanted to wear heavy wool socks so I got a size 8 wide. They are a little bit large on me, (with the heavy socks) but not so much that I would return them for the smaller size. The width is perfect. They are sturdy shoes, but not as stiff as the other waterproof shoes I tried. Mostly, I have given them five stars because of their comfort, and because they keep my feet dry & warm. They are not as good for active use as a running shoe, but I could not find a waterproof athletic shoe. They do have good stability, and do well for moderate activities. I have not had them long enough to judge how durable they are.

I had a pair of these in an earlier version and a half size smaller. The shoes run true to length but they are quite wide across the arch through the toe box and they are difficult to lace as snug as I'd like because the tongue has so much padding that it wads up and becomes uncomfortable.

So what would happen is my feet would slide forward and press up against the toe because of all that extra width.

And for the longest time I didn't realize that was the problem. I just thought they were too short/small.

So I ordered them a half size larger. I can tell this would have stopped my foot from pressing up against the toe, but they are still far too wide for me. On this pair for the listing I'm reviewing, they tongue on the left shoe had an extra fold in it so even though I didn't lace them tightly the tongue was rubbing hard on my foot just with little steps around the living room carpet.

Overall: these just aren't for me and I have to accept that. I don't have a particularly narrow foot and I do wear wool hiking socks but even with those thick socks there is just way too much room in the arch for me to get good support.

I do like these though because they have great traction, are extremely durable, and are reliably waterproof. I think they look great for a hiking shoe too. If you have a really high arch or if you have feet that are wide in the arch area but don't qualify for a wide shoe size: these are going to be great for you. They also come in a wide width but I can't speak to those.

Net: not for me, but I do still recommend these for the right person.

I ordered these because winter is coming and my old Merrell shoes are no longer “dry”; my husband and I do trail riding with a 4x4 group and I needed something other than my hiking boots to keep my feet dry.

I’ve been wearing these around the house and outside since I received them. They are very supportive and comfortable. I have a low arch and have suffered with plantar fasciitis on occasion, so support, a good fit, and comfort is a huge deal for me. Recommended for outdoor sports - not terribly slim looking or sexy at all, but they are built to get the job done.

Moab 2s were a replacement for my Teva Arrowoods. I had high hopes based on the reviews but I’m a little disappointed. They have plenty of width but seem a tad short. A half size up would be too big so I’ll try thinner socks. Haven’t worn them in the rain but they’ve kept my feet dry through wet grass and shallow puddles. They are sturdy, well constructed and grip nicely over rough surfaces. Not much cushioning though. Once tied, the laces stay nice and tight. Unfortunately my feet get very cold in these, despite wearing merino wool socks. The temps have been hovering in the low 50’sF. I can’t imagine wearing these shoes in colder weather. Spring is right around the corner so I think they’ll work for spring and summer. In the meantime, I’ll be searching for a warmer hiking shoe.

I did size up half a size after reading the reviews. I wear a wide fitting. They’re comfortable out of the box and good with a thick or thin sock by adjusting the laces obviously. Sweet deal getting these on prime days! They are a a little stiffer than anticipated but maybe they’ll break in. My feet feel protected, the rubber reinforcement at the toe helps with that. The traction is good on slick surfaces. Hopefully they’ll stand up to some wet hiking in Wales next month.

I usually wear Keens and have done for years. I have a double knee replacement and need to wear supportive footwear which provides cushioning for the titanium prothesis. BUT I do believe Merrell's are above the Keens for their softer and gentler fabric around the ankle as my foot slips in. I do think I have now suffered from a very pleasant conversion.

El zapato es muy bonito y de buena calidad, lamentablemente me quedó súper justo y por esa causa no lo sentí cómodo y tuve que regresarlo. Mi número es 23, un 23.5 o un 24 me habrían quedado mejor.
