    We bough it for camping and we are very happy with it. It casts a lot of light over a big area. there is not much difference between the biggest setting and the middle setting, so you can save some battery by not using it at full power. Also, batteries not included!

    This retro style lantern puts out a decent amount of light. Got this to use to light up a room for when the power goes out during hurricanes and such. I wanted something that used batteries. If you don't have power you can't charge a light. Eventually the portable chargers need to be charged also. With this lantern I don't have to worry about having to charge it, just keep and extra pack of batteries around.
