LEATHER CARE GUIDE

The city is unpredictable, and acquiring scuffs, nicks, and dirt along the way is inevitable. We wanted to provide you with a guide on how to care for your leather—so you can keep that fresh-out-of-the-box look for as long as possible.

FOR WATERPROOF LEATHER:

Step 1: Use a medium-bristle brush to remove dirt, dust, or debris (we recommend one made specifically for cleaning leather.)

Step 2: Wipe shoes with a damp cloth.

Step 3: Let dry in a cool, dry place.

FOR OILED LEATHER/DRY-TANNED LEATHER:

Step 1: Remove dirt, dust, or debris, with a dry cloth.

Step 2: Use a clean cloth dipped in a bit of leather cleaner all over shoes.

Step 3: Wipe shoes with a damp cloth to remove residue.

Step 4: Let dry in a cool, dry place.

FOR NUBUCK/SUEDE LEATHER:

Step 1: Use a soft brush to remove dirt, dust, or debris (we recommend one made specifically for nubuck/suede leather.)

Big rig truck driver girl, former hairdresser lover of quality comfortable stylin boots here…worn them 2days and lovin them because the rubber soles are thicker, and softer but tough rubber, better cushion and very lightweight. They are more comfortable because the foot is more level than other medium heeled boots that have somewhat of a platform such as my Timberland Kinsley Dark Beige Nubuck Waterproof boots.I prefer these Sorels for their better comfort with more level foot position with such a sassy platform and heel and cushioning rubber soles. In the pix I posted I intended to show the wider heel bottoms that give better stability.Sorel went AWESOME with designing these funkier more substantial, supportive shock absorbing rubber soles. I felt the big difference and decided I am keeping the three colors I ordered. Sidenote is that I like to use Dr. Scholl’s heel and arch cushions and all of my shoes and boots that allow to make them supremely more comfortable and shock absorbing. I wear size 9.5 medium width and these are true to size. They fit nice n snug in the upper foot with toe room. And you can just tell the leather is going to soften and mold to your foot. Also they do let you widen them with lacing and because they are leather but not sure how wide, some feet may need

    These boots are so amazing!! The leather is soft, the color is rich, and they’re very sturdy. I was kind of worried about them not having a zipper on the side. Turns out they’re super easy to get on and off, so it’s a non-issue. I also love that I can take out the insole and add my own for the extra support I need. I do agree with other reviews that these boots are narrow. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone that has a wider foot. I’m on the narrow side, so they work for me.

    I haven’t worn them in snow or rain yet, but I’m hopeful that they’ll be just fine. Highly recommend these boots!

    I love Sorel and have two other styles. My go-to for the past two years have been a leather boot with a built in wedge. They're super comfortable and I love them but the sole is starting to separate and the wedge isn't great in icy weather. I found these on sale and treated myself for Christmas. First wear was a bit rough. I bought my true size, which fit great, but they definitely felt narrow to begin with. They were also taller on my leg so i needed to wear taller socks right off the bat, which I didn't, so had a few sores from where they rubbed. After a few more all-day wears with the right socks, they feel super conformed to my feet, they don't rub and I can feel great wearing them to work or put running errands. These will definitely be my new favorite cold weather shoes from now on. Looking forward to trying out their waterproofing in the spring!

    These were a splurge to buy since I wanted a new pair of Sorels. The leather is very stiff and takes a few weeks to break in - definitely wear thicker socks or the heel protected socks that one would wear with Doc Martens while breaking in to save your ankles from the worst blisters ever. They are definitely worth the price. These boots do run small and are not for wide feet. I ordered a 1/2 size up - I usually wear size 8, but got 8.5 and they’re comfy/have enough wiggle room. I like the laces and no zipper - easy on and off! The soles are THICK and give some height. As I broke them in, I was walking on icy and slushy pavement without any issues or slippage. They go through slush well and I have not had any issues with water coming into the boot.

    If you’re looking for a boot that is stylish and durable, that you don’t mind breaking in, get these!

    Had high hopes for these, because I love the Sorel brand. These boots are a miss for me. They run incredible narrow. Very tight in ball of foot area. Something in that area also jabs and rubs at my foot. There is no lining or any soft material inside this boot. There is very little to no cushion. I would add an insole but it's too tight of a fit already. I do have chunkier calves and they do fit ok there, the laces let the top portion of the boot expand, but without being bulky. I do love the design of the sole of the shoe, it's very chunky and utilitarian looking. I just wish there was more of the comfort I have come to expect from the Sorel brand
