I needed file cabinets that were a bit more 'dressed up' than the average because I work from home. I wanted these to be easily accessible, which means I had to place them in a main living area. They are solidly constructed, the drawers close firmly, the color is consistent, there is adequate space for hanging files and other documents/supplies, and they don't draw attention at all, despite being office furniture in a home.
