The Dean Jacket is an elevated, modern update on a retro cafe racer jacket, a style popularized by race car drivers and motorcyclists in the 70s. It’s crafted from the same rugged-yet-refined Italian calf suede as the Dylan, in a rich brown. Traditional details include the chest pocket, easy zip front and a latch at the throat, to close the collar tight against wind. Todd’s updated the vintage silhouette with a cleaner look, flattering fit and a point collar. All in all, it’s got major “driving on a summer night with the top down” energy.
The color, texture were great. The jacket (large) was a little snug in the shoulders for me (5’10” 185 w 44 chest)…also couldn’t get zipper pulls to lay flat, I ended up returning.
