I bought this for my roommate for Christmas because she loves drinking wine. The product itself works pretty well. We buy cheap wine and can't tell the difference between it being aerated or not, but it will keep an already cold drink cool while you're drinking it. The package says something about putting it in a bottle of red wine to keep it room temp, but the gel melts almost immediately. We don't drink a lot of wines that require a cork, either, so it's not as necessary. Would I gift it again to someone who drinks a lot of wine? For sure! Is it that necessary for college-aged adults on a budget? Not so much.
