first off the packaging is great. This Mattress comes rolled tightly in a rectangle box. Pretty heavy! For the unpacking after taking out of the box. There's actually two layers, one is the outer plastic shell layer. The second is the layer right before getting to the mattress. Be careful when cutting that plastic. Instantly after cutting down the 2nd layer the mattress will start inflating to its shape. To get full size wait at least 24 hours to lay on it. It'll take 48 hours gice or take for it's full size. As for comfort, my 6 year old daughter loves her new mattress. She said after the first night sleeping on it. She slept so good and didn't wake up at all throughout the night. She even stated she moves on her new comfy mattress and her tumbler didn't move at all. She was to happy, I've layed with and had movie night and it's so comfy. Next purchase I'll get an additional for my 11 year old. There's also a removable mattress cover that you can wash. Always a plus.

So comfortable

This twin mattress is for my daughters new bed and she loves it! I was surprised at just how soft a mattress that came in a box could be. It says its 10" thick but it feels even thicker to me. My daughter has been laying in her bed since she got this mattress. It fits standard twin size sheet sets and fit her twin bed perfect. I rolled out out after removing from the box and let it set for a few hours to take shape and it was good to go! So glad we decided to get the sinus twin mattress. And an added bonus it keeps her cool because it's a cooling mattress!

This is so soft

We received this twin Slumber 1 by ZINUS 10” Cooling Copper Adaptive Pocket Spring Hybrid Mattress today and it's amazing! We had recently purchased a 9 inch memory foam mattress for my 13 year old son's bed, but it was a little too firm for him. This Zinus 10 inch hybrid is extremely comfortable!! My whole family has been taking turns trying it out all day. Not too hard, and not too soft—it's honestly even more comfortable than our super expensive $1500 queen mattress in our master bedroom. We loved that it was shipped in a box straight to our door—gone are the days trying to figure out how to get a box spring and mattress home from the furniture store! It's super conveniently rolled up, wrapped in heavy duty plastic for protection, and boxed. Unpacking can be tricky if you're not careful. You have to very carefully cut the plastic away from the rolled mattress. There's a lot of tension because the mattress is compressed for shipping so be careful, especially towards the end because once you make that last cut the mattress springs, or whips right open and it could definitely knock someone over. They even include a cute card taped to the outside of the plastic to warn you about this. It reads: “This mattress knows Kung fu and may unroll itself at lightning speed. Keep small pets and children free from it's kick radius. Please be extra careful when cutting it free from it's bindings.” The envelope even has some cute blank cards for you and a few other love notes. Really a cute and thoughtful touch that I appreciated. Once it was unboxed and placed on his bed, it took a few hours to be fully inflated. We also love that it is antimicrobial and odor free so it won't irritate my son's allergies. It's only the first night he's had it, but he fell asleep so quickly and loves how comfortable it is. I know he's getting a good night's rest on this thing! Way to go ZINUS!! If all your mattresses are this awesome, you just won our family over for life!

This Mattress is AMAZING!

Alright, alright. This is a little different how this mattress works! It ships in a box all rolled up and vacuum sealed to make it a nice, tight roll. You have to cut the plastic off of it and it begins to fill out and unroll. It's kinda cool to watch! After you get it, it says you need to stay off of it for 24 hours to let the mattress fully pop to its full size. It's not very heavy, either. We're using this for my 11 year old son, and it feels pretty good so far, it's really a decent budget mattress. The only thing about this is that the corners are not firm, they're kind of squishy. But we like it and think it's really cost effective. We have a few Zinus products and they always have impressed and pleased us. Easy mattress, easy packaging, I recommend!

Interesting

This mattress is so wonderful and amazing. To be honest I didnt expect anything good to come from a mattress in a box. But this has definitely exceeded my ALL of my expectations. I will say the box is heavy,. I think it weighted something like 70 lbs. since I was home alone I was going to wait for my hubby or my son to get home, but I was like a kid in a candy store and just couldnt wait to open it up lol. It took me awhile since it was heavy which that is to be expected. It was tightly wrapped in plastic wrap. Once it was open it stared to expand almost immediately. So my advice is to make sure you already have it on the bed, so that once its expanded you dont have to wrestle with it trying to get it into the room and on the bed, lol. I did take a little while to fully fill out but that is expected since it was wrapped up. This mattress has totally surprised me. It is so comfortable, probably one of the most comfortable that Ive ever laid on. The cooling cover is so so nice and to me it does feel like you stay cooler in the night. Most morning I would wake up kinda sweety or feeling hot and miserable and have to immediately get in the shower. But with this mattress I have woken up feeling refreshed and like I sleep on a cooling pad thru the night. The best part is that it is a hybrid mattress that has coils and not just memory foam. Before in the morning I would wake up still feeling tired and my back would be so sore from my previous mattress, and most days I would also wake up with a slight headache. Since having this mattress, I have woke up feeling refreshed, and completely energized and ready for the day. The backaches and sore muscles are gone AND Ive only had a headache twice since sleeping on this mattress.. My son, has recently purchased himself one of these mattress and he loves his as well, and also my mother has ordered her one online and she is actually waiting on it to be delivered any day. So I will say this mattress is defiantly worth the money and I sure it will last for years to come, and when its time to get a new one we will forsure be buying this brand from here on out. This has been the best mattress Ive ever owned!

Most Amazing Mattress.

This review is for the Slumber 1 by ZINUS 10” Cooling Copper Adaptive Pocket Spring Hybrid Mattress, Twin. This mattress replaced my 11 year old son's mattress that was about 9 years old. His old mattress was getting lumpy so he was excited to try this. He has spend a couple nights on this mattress so far and he says it is very comfortable. He has sleeping issues and since getting this mattress he has been able to fall asleep faster and sleep longer through the night without waking up so much. The fact that this mattress has fabric that uses your excess body heat and moisture to trigger evaporation is the best part. My son always overheats at night which is one of the reasons he wakes up so much and with this he's cooler all night. This also has a feature that resists motion so if 2 people are sleeping on it and one moves alot the other person won't be as affected by that. This mattress comes rolled in a box and pops right to shape which is really cool. Definitely pleased to have my son sleep better although for me personally it's slightly too firm but I do recommended and would purchase again in the future.

My son likes his new mattress

The mattress seems quite soft and squishy but when fully inflated its the perfect mix of being soft and firm. The top is firm enough that if two people sit on the bed it won't wiggle while one person moves around but is soft enough to conform to the curves of a person; the bed hugs the body rather than be stiff. The cooling technology keeps you from overheating when sleeping on the bed, especially if you sink into it.
