If this shoe doesn't keep you warm and dry, we don't know what will. The Tillamook Bay slip-on from Bogs has a high-abrasion rubber outsole to prevent slips, and a rubber and neoprene upper to protect you from cold, wet conditions. It also has a cushiony foam insole to support your step.
BOGS built its first boot for Oregon farmers to deliver comfort whatever the weather. Today, we continue to develop functional footwear that helps get things done, no matter what you decide to do. We are BOGS: 100% comfortable in our own boots.

o Keep my feet warm and dry
o Very comfortable
o Soles seem to have very good traction
CONS:
o Made in China
OTHER:
o Very snug fitting
I have a pair of New Balance 640's (also made in China) that I bought several years ago, which I use to go to the mailbox and do quick outdoor chores, and I've been happy with them. They are truly a "slip on"; I can stick my feet into them without needing to bend over and use my hands to assist. After I got the basement entrance installed, I wanted another pair of slip ons to keep downstairs. I considered getting another pair of the 640's, but decided I wanted something waterproof, so I started searching. I came across these Bogs slip ons (or more accurately to my way of thinking, pull ons), and the reviews were all very positive, so I figured I'd give them a try. The first time I put them on, I was a bit taken aback by how tight they seemed and it took much more than "slipping" my feet into them, so I decided to use them a while before I reached a verdict and wrote this review.
And, I'm glad I did... after a few wearings, I have decided that these are exactly what I needed! They seem like they have loosened up just a tiny bit (but that could just be wishful thinking) but are still very snug fitting, but that's not a bad thing. The soles seem to be very non-slip, and they keep my feet dry and warm and are very comfortable. I haven't worn them for an extended period of time, or to do anything but quick trips outside to dump the ash bucket, or similar quick chores. But I am now absolutely satisfied that these are a wonderful boot that I will enjoy for hopefully many years to come. They are a low boot so obviously would not do well in snow deeper than say 6 inches, but in those instances a slip on isn't what you want anyway.
The only observation I would make is that the little "pull straps" on the heel appear to be vital to my being able to get these on without the use of a shoehorn. I have a very high instep, which makes getting pull-on boots on and off very difficult for me. I have a pair of Ranger Insulated Steel Toe Mid Pac Rubber Oil Rigger Boots that I like (plus they are made in the US!!!) and it is murder to get them on and off. So I hope the pull straps last as long as the boots. Worst case I guess I'll have to hunt up a shoehorn. Just thought I'd mention this in case you have a high instep, too. Anyhow, high instep or not, I don't believe anyone could "slip" these on...
** UPDATE 4/8/15** I just wanted to update my review because I think these are so great. I've worn them throughout the winter on snowy days and have also been wearing them on construction sites. They are holding up very well. They are easy to keep clean (hose them off) and they have really conformed to my foot. I can slip them on and off yet they don't move while walking. I LOVE THESE!
