This camera was very easy to set up. You have to put it on 2.4 GHz for it to work. The picture is very clear, when there is light, the photo and video is in color, when it’s dark, the night vision kicks in and it’s black-and-white. The great thing about it is you could Turn the flashlight on from your cell phone to the camera and it goes from black-and-white night vision to color as soon as you turn the light on.

These are getting easier to setup and use. This is my fifth Blink camera and they are absolutely outstanding. Inside, outside, doorbell they are great. They work together extremely well and blend with Alexa as if they were designed to from the very beginning. The cameras all record to a local drive with SD backup. The files are easy to work with and easy to organize. If you need to pull and individual recording to give to ... Say the police, or a lawyer, or ... Simple. Half a terabyte of storage if you need it is available through an external SD card/drive/what have you.

Five cameras work together seamlessly. I plan on adding more and dumping the others. No subscription is required so there is no hidden "extra" costs with these.

I have had difficulty with the wireless cameras. Batteries just do not last as long as I need them to. So I attached Solar Panels to the wireless camera, even the ones with flood lights...problem solved.

I can easily see the difference between the early generations and the latest one. Camera clarity, IR and Night Vision are all much, much clearer. Especially when you need to zoom in.

They may be small, but they punch way above their weight class. A great value for the price.

I would add pictures, but ... Security .... Right?

I needed a couple more blink minis and got the new version to try it out. Nice picture/video quality and it is silent when activated, not like the old version that makes a loud click. The “flash light” on it is also a really nice touch. Works well for a room.

Another thing I really like is the beta person detection settings. I hope they add this feature to all of their future cameras, especially the front door camera and the new outdoor cameras.

Amazon Alexa and Amazon echo products always come in really cool packaging too.

They suck. Like really suck. Connection is super slow. By the time your able to view your live feed any noise you heard that made you want to view the camera, is already long gone.
It's not my intention. I have speeds over 500. Is the stupid design and software of the camera.

The most annoying thing is the stupid button that constantly pops up asking to continue. If you don't press it, it will turn off the live video. If you try to go right back in to see it, you can't. No, you have to wait over 30 seconds to be able to view it again and that's if you can even get it to come on again. Almost every time if fails to connect multiple times.

Totally garbage. Why add these stupid restraints.
Way better options out there for same price or less with better connection speeds and better picture quality.

The camera was easy to set up and has good response and resolution. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of a geofence option that will enable and disable the camera when you are away vs at home. There are third party options, but it’s not clear they are secure, and they don’t always work correctly.
