Was using the TS-5 for about 5 months, love it, but my wife asked me if she can have it, so I gave it to her and upgraded to this, the Tempest Wave Pro v3 and man, it didn’t disappoint. Right away, I was so amazed when I hit the ball, more power, more control near the net, I leveled up on my hands battle with this paddle. It offers a higher level of forgiveness. I am loving every minute of it on the court. Not poppy at all like others were saying, great paddle for control and touch, power too. I plan on adding some lead tape down the road to broaden the already nice sweet spot and to give me a little more power.

I bought both v3 (thinner core 12.7mm) and pro-v3 (thicker core 14.3mm) to test the new Graphite reinforced core. Graphite-reinforced core does give good feed back and sense of control by dissipating impact (damping effect). V3 (thinner core 12.7mm) has little more power (7.5/10), yet, PRO-v3 (thicker core 14.3mm) has little power (7/10). Both paddles have super spin (control).

Used Lead-Tape & over-grip to tune/enhance the performance (Spin/Power/gravity-center/grip-tightness). After tuning, both paddles are very easy to play with!
