tado’s Smart Thermostat starter kit gives you smart heating control. You can heat your home only when needed, and take control remotely via the tado app (available on iOS and Android). Easily override settings from your smart device to make sure the house is warm if you’re returning early. It’s easy to install and compatible with smart speakers for voice control too. tado’s Smart Thermostat can be used in place of conventional room thermostats, boiler programmers or as a new controller if there is no existing controls.
This version also includes hot water control.

tado app
tado lets you control your home climate from your smart phone. You can control your tado devices, set schedules, and get tips. And all remotely from anywhere with your smart device. Control individual room temperatures, and get data on energy usage. It can take the local weather forecast into account and make adjustments to save energy, and, with Geofencing, it can even remind you to turn off your heating when the last person leaves, or to turn it on again when the first person returns. It also features Open Window Detection, and, with the Air Comfort Skill, provides insights about air quality so you can maintain a healthier climate.
Works with smart speakers
tado fits seamlessly into the connected home. You can control it with Apple HomeKit, and it works with Siri, Google Assistant and Alexa devices for effortless voice control.
Compatibility
The Smart Thermostat works with almost all heating systems of most manufacturers, including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi, Ideal, Viessmann, Potterton, Glow worm, British Gas, Main, Alpa, and more. It works with Combi, system and heat-only boilers, Conventional and condensing boilers, Air source heat pumps and Ground source heat pumps.
