We got the Acer Aspire 3. The screen is 15.6" with full HD display. It has a 12th Generation Intel Core i5-1235U, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 8GB DDR4, 256GB NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Home, A315-59-53ER. I love that it's light weight and thin so it would be easy to travel with. The charging cord input seems flimsy like it may break easily if someone catches it on the wrong thing or is rough with it so I would recommend it to be used with parental supervision if it's a younger child. We are a homeschool family so the laptop will be used by all the members in my family. I wish there was a USB-C and an onboard ethernet that would make the laptop better. All five members have their own account to log into on the laptop with their own color scheme and back grounds. The laptop can connect to Android phones and your Xbox Live account. The keys are close together on the keyboard. I love the keyboard has a 10-key spot on the side. I would recommend this laptop for the ease of use, being able to have more than one account, and the ability to connect the laptop to your android phone or Xbox Live Account.

Acer Aspire 3, 12th Gen Intel Core

This is a beautiful, sleek and shiny laptop. It runs efficiently and fast. It takes no time at all to boot up and is ready to go at the blink of an eye. I love the efficiency as well as how light and portable it is. It weighs no more than 6lbs and is thin enough to not take up much room at all too. It comes with 2 slide covers to use on the camera so you can open it when you want and not a moment sooner. You can choose not to add it if you want and comes off easily if you choose to remove it. I do wish the power cord came with a cable wrap for when it isn't in use. But I can just buy one. It runs all my games and programs with a breeze and I can't ask for more. My only other wish would be that I would come with Microsoft office instead of just a free trial. I also want to note that this laptop does NOT come with a disc drive. It does have 1 hdmi port, at least 3 USB ports and a single headset jack. There are plenty of options for this great laptop.

I received this product to evaluate for free, but all comments and opinions are my own. 

Wow, this must be the very 1st 12th Gen Intel CPU laptop on the market. Everyone else has the 11th Gen CPU. Like all Acer laptops (I have 2 other Acer at home), the design and asthmatic are great but understated. Aluminum brushed thin case makes it more expensive than it is. Setup up was quick and easy. The laptop went into self updating for 10 minutes before I could continue. Everything looks so familiar. Keyboard is decent, and I like the extra numeric keypad on the right. Installed my favorite MS Money. It ran amazingly fast. Must be that new CPU and the SSD doing. For the money, this is great.

Don't know why you would spend $1k for another laptop (double of this one). Highly recommended for everyone except the gamers.

Acer Aspire 3 Laptop with 12th Gen Intel CPU

This is a fantastic laptop. It has good ram and storage. Acer is one of the top computer companies. 
This will be a grad gift, but tempted to keep it! Nice and thin, lighter weight than MY laptop. Intel i5, beautiful crisp display, Windows 11, silver color, NOT black for once.
Memory is expandable so thats perfect for what we need.
Again, AWESOME laptop at a reasonable price.

Quality laptop

This is a great, basic laptop. It was very easy to set up and has a decent speed. I am pleased with how quickly I am able to start up the device and log in. I also like that it has a number keypad. I would recommend this device if you're looking for a basic, fairly quick laptop. The screen also is clear and has good color contrast.

Good, basic laptop

So far this computer is amazing! The screen is big and clear. The volume works well and doesn't get fuzzy when going louder. The initial setup was a bit frustrating halfway through it froze and I had to go back and do it again. I do not like that I can't turn off all the news boxes on the front. If there's a way I can't find it. I went through and tried to hide all of them in the preferences but it didn't matter. I did however find that I can drop it down to the bottom. I just wish it wasn't there. My 6 year old likes to go on and play his online games. Which he played full battery his pbs kids games, Lego games, National Geographic kids games for a good couple of hours and the battery went to 42% so that's a good thing to me! The battery holds up well without being plugged in. Aside from the first freezing incident I have experienced no other faults. We use a Bluetooth mouse but the keypad works just fine and smoothly if you do not use a mouse. The keyboard is smooth to type. It's lightweight. Have not experienced overheating. It's easy to turn on and off. It has an ergonomic angle to it which is nice. My absolute favorite part is it comes with 2 camera covers. They are small little rectangles with an adhesive back with a little back piece that slides back and forth covering and uncovering the camera. It doesn't affect closing the computer too much. It sticks out a little bit and holds the computer open just a teeny bit but it's not anything noticeable. It's a nice addition. I'm assuming they give 2 in case the adhesive fails but I have no experienced this yet. Overall I really like this laptop and would recommend to anyone. I'm pretty picky when it comes to electronics and expect things to work a certain way and this meets those expectations.

So far so good

Purchased this laptop to run a small laser business. So it will be filled with lots of files and see many hours of operation. Had it up and running in minutes and it's been two weeks so far and not a single issue. I would recommend getting a wireless mouse for ease of operation. Don't misunderstand me, the touch pad works wonderfully well, just more familiar with the functionality of a mouse verses the touchpad. However, the three finger up swipe works great for maneuvering between multiple screens. Hope as happy with your device as I am.
