Love this product, BUT....
I absolutely LOVE this dry shampoo for my normal hair and for my human hair wigs. However, even though it smells extremely nice and fresh, the level of smell can be a little over powering and hit you in the face pretty strong. It's mainly due to the fact that A LOT sprays out at once just by barely pressing down the spray nozzle, and with this (not just because of the price) a little goes a long way. My boyfriend can't stand it. He thinks it smells horrible and doesn't like when I use it. After a couple minutes the strong smell calms down and it's much better, though. As far as taking away oils, I think it works extremely well for both my real hair and my human hair wigs in-between washes. Although this is an extremely pricey bottle for the size you get, it's definitely worth every penny! Plus, like I was lucky enough to come across this last time, it does tend to go on sale quite often. I highly recommend at least trying this once!!

    I loved my first can of this and reordered a second to have at the ready for when the first one ran out. When I opened the second one I only got one spray out before it stopped working. I tried running it under hot water and using the nozzle from the old can but nothing worked. I was very upset since this is fairly expensive and by this point the return window had closed (not to mention I didn't have any dry shampoo to use!) It occurred to me try and contact Living Proof's customer service and they sent me replacemt can. Knowing that Living Proof will stand behind their products gives me confidence to keep reording even if I might get another dud someday.

    This is my HG product! I have tried so many different dry shampoo's in an effort to find the best at a good price point. Living Proof is a bit on the higher cost side, but worth every penny.

    I wash every 3-4 days, I have color treated dry hair, oily scalp. This is absorbs oil and allows a fresh look each day without feeling like I have a ton of build-up after use.

    The smell is fresh and not overwhelming. No fake flowery beachy smells like many of the rest. I spray this directly on my brush and apply it to my hair to avoid concentrated spray spots. This blends well and leaves my hair looking fresh between washes.

I am giving it a 4/5 star because the only issue I have come across is 2 different times is the aerosol bottle has stopped working on a full bottle of dry shampoo. So I will have a full bottle of product and I’m unable to use it. 1 time it was nonrefundable because it was purchased from a third party? Other than having a bottle that didn’t work 2 different times, it’s a fantastic product!

Shake can extremely well for maximum cleaning results. Hold canister six to ten inches away from dry hair. Section hair thoroughly and apply product in a sweeping motion to dirty/oily areas. Wait 30 seconds for the powders to activate and cleanse. Then remove by massaging and shaking at roots with fingers or brush hair. Apply more if needed, make sure to shake again.
