the item was for a gift and it fit the need of the recipient.  was delivered several days earlier than expected.

This vacuum sucks so good, it's amazing how clean my floor is after I vacuum. I've cleaned my car and even groomed my dogs. It's loud for them but easy to groom. Totally worth it. I have an Animal 2 %26 3, they're both great.

Animal3 sucks!

Love using this vacuum as we have a golden retriever that sheds quite a bit. It works extremely well. Also love the dog attachment it came with! Worth the money.

Great for pets!

This is an amazingly agile vacuum that does its job. I like the weight of it. It's suction is excellent and it maneuvers amazingly. The pet vacuum piece is astounding. I recommend, but of course, it really remains to be seen in its longevity.

It's expensive for a reason

So far so awesome! I've owned two other Dysons on the past. This is my second animal ball. I was not impressed with the Animal Ball 2 because I got it when it first came out and the model had lots of recalls and was generally problematic so I was a little hesitant to try again but heard that Dyson had fixed all the issues that the 2 had. So far I am really happy! Suction is awesome as are the tools. I like that they added adjustable carpet height. That is needed for those times when your Dyson can barely move across area rugs.  I actually purchase the multi floor first and then returned it because it was not adjustable and therefore basically unusable on many of the surfaces in my home. This one was worth the extra money.

Love this vacuum.   It does a fantastic job getting the hair up from my golden retriever and 3 cats.  The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hose for stretching the vacuum up the stairs does not come close to the full length advertised.    At the full length stretched I can't get to the last 2-3 steps and at that point the vacuum falls over and starts getting pulled up the stairs.  FYI  I also find that the upholstery attachment gets the animal hair out of the stair runner rug and carpet better than the stair tool.   By the way the upholstery tool is unbelievably amazing.   It makes quick work out of getting cat hair off chairs and couches.   Truly awesome!  This vacuum is so amazing that the less than stellar stair hose does not keep me from loving it.  I am truly in love with this vacuum.  I am very happy with this purchase.   I do hope Dyson will lengthen the stair hose though.  It would then be perfect!!

Great Suction

This is the worse vacuum I have ever used.  The head of the vacuum constantly falls off, very hard to maneuver to clean steps and doesn't move on the carpet smoothly.  A waste of money and will never buy another Dyson product again.  It doesn't deserve 1 star, I'd prefer no stars.  Now I have to spend more money and buy another vacuum.

The worse vacuum ever.
