I use this while camping. I use this on a long work day of driving. I use this with coffe grounds, and my tea was also delicious in here.

First things first, this is perfect for on the go hot drinks. It doesn't stay boiling hot for hours, which I like, because if I use the French press feature, the water I use to make my coffee has to be boiling. My issue with other mugs is they do their job too well. I typically can't enjoy my coffee right after prepping it. With this, I dont have to leave the lid off for a half an hour before it becomes drinkable. That saves me from potential spills.

Now you might be thinking, so this insulation is junk. No, you should still be cautious and test the drinks out. It keeps things warm, trust me.

The pieces pf the French press are easy to use. The filter twists off the depresser, for easy cleaning. The mug is small and the stainless steel inside is easy to clean.

My only hiccup is the lid, with two convoluted, spinning pieces. They could have done less with this lid. Its not hard to use the lid, but its also not the most comfortable. I dont know how to describe it. It is cute overall, but people would have still loved the product if it was a simpler lid design.

The handle also seems weak, but that's because it is dainty. I'm used to thick plastic handles, but this is a thin metal one. It feels strong. I hope it will hold up to the test of time, especially at the hinges.

this is a lovely cup, i really like the feel of the metal cup instead of hard plastic. for the most part, it doesn't leak; there was only 1 time that a few dribbles come out.
the reason i only gave it 4 stars is the difficulty of adding a sweetener or cream to the drink. if you put it in with the coffee grounds you need more than usual so you get the full effect. otherwise if you try to put in it after you have inserted the press, it is very difficult and i end up spilling a bit over the side.
i looked at and read reviews of many coffee press cups. i actually ordered this one and one other for comparison and this one was slimmer, which is the reason i kept this one - easier to hold, the lid stays attached and flips all the way over so drinking is easy. unfortunately i didn't consider the additive issue when making my comparison. even so, i like this cup for all the other features.

I had a few complaints when I first got this, like it's not wide enough, the cap is cumbersome and bulky.

But the more I use it I think of how I could make it better and I came to the conclusion that this thing is highly engineered.

Like the latch to attach it to a backpack or whatever doubles as a open lid mount so it doesn't hit you in the face when it tilted up, it works automatically, but at first I was like "this metal mount piece keeps getting stuck in the lid cap and it seemed like a inconvenience to pull it out before closing.

Another thing I didn't like was there is not flanged out lip on the cup to tumble and cool the hot liquid so it's a more tempature friendly drink, because it comes out really hot...

But again, having a lid that closes on top of a screw on lid doesn't leave any options for that, not does the straight up and down design of the cup, it needs to be that way because it's a french press, and you have to make sure the cap and the lid are both on tight or it will spill out into your lunchbox, or whatever you put it in.

It works well for what it is and the price is good, ideally I would use a french press at home and pour it into my Holiday 20oz Tumbler, but that is extra steps I'm not taking, plus I need to bring it with us n my layovers so We can use it at the hotel.

Cleaning it is a pain, my workaround is just to pour water from the bathroom sink into cup, pull out the press and dump the contents into the toilet, repeat a couple time and rinse off, voila clean!

I don't have a garbage disposal and trying to get out the grains of coffee smashed to the bottom is not fun any other way then to just rinse them out without clogging the sink drain

He is a coffee lover and I had introduced him to press pot coffee a few years ago, love at first press and now he can do it at work. He is a delivery driver so he is able to travel with his freshly pressed coffee and it stays hot while he is driving. Sturdy, he is prone to dropping things, so it will definitely see wear and tear. Does not turn bitter as would be expected with the grounds staying in but is still great quality a couple of hours later, slow drinker as well. He loves it and that's all that matters.

Habe zwei Wochen für zwei Personen hiermit Kaffee gekocht ohne Probleme.
Top Thermokanne/ French press. Bietet in vielen Fällen sogar noch gegebenenüber der Aeropress ein paar Vorteile, da man unterwegs eben nur diese Baugruppen hat und sich keine Gedanken um feuchte Ausrüstung im Rucksack machen muss. Super alles in einem Lösung und sinnvolle Erweiterung zu einer Aeropress.

Lediglich der Preis von in meinem Fall 50€ ist ziemlich happig. In der USA gibt es die schon für 36$. Es währe schön, wenn sie auch über den deutschen Stanley Shop zu haben währe.
