These were pretty amazing. IMO, Sennheiser has some of the best sound equipment available. I used cheap ear buds many years ago and finally purchased Sennheiser back when they still had the wire between the buds. Since then, I've had several other earbuds--Soundpeats, TOZO, off brands nobody's heard of, and the latest being Soundcore Life P3 by Anker. I like Anker products, too. I've not tried the Beats or Bose or Technics, but I already knew Sennheiser would be good. My Soundcores have been my favorite the last couple years (customized with the app) and are still great, but when I got these Sennheiser ACCENTUMs, I felt like I was at the symphony. I truly love the clarity, strong bass, mids, and trebles. The app is great and pretty easy to use. I know everyone's ears are different shape and size, but these fit in my ears perfectly. They do not move when I run, jump, play with the dog; I can talk on the phone and hear clearly. The person to whom I'm talking hears me clearly, too. For me, these have been the best so far!! (The Soundcores are really great for phone conversations as well.) But for music, these are, hands down, amazing!!!

Approaching Greatness
I was excited when the opportunity to try the Sennheiser Accentum bud came up. I had been using a budget set of wireless buds for some time by then, and I was looking for an upgrade path. While I have owned several pairs of Sennheiser headphones, I have never used their wireless devices. After over a month of using these buds, I wish I had invested in them a long time ago. here are some of the reasons I have grown to enjoy these buds so much in my time using them.Unboxing the Accentum is what can be described as spartan. You get everything you need including a base complement of ear tips, but nothing more. This is fine. I was happy with the compact nature of the case. it fits easily in the watch pocket on my jeans with only a slight bulge. While narrower in total size than my other TWS devices, it is taller. The materials used are high-quality plastic, but it is also point from my perspective. The texture of the plastic is so minimal that it can be hard to get a good grip. There have been multiple times where I would drop the case when taking it out of my pocket. The buds are also made of this material meaning my fingers would often slip when trying to remove the buds from the case; occasionally dropping the bud in the process. On the other hand, The material does provide a smooth and comfortable fit that I can wear for hours without issue. While it is not a deal breaker for me, it is something to be mindful of.Sound quality out of the box is good/excellent. Gone is the boominess of budget headphones replaced with a well-balanced tuning. this can be improved even more if you delve into the Sennheiser APP, but the way you select your sound signature is a little too nuanced for my preference. This did not matter much to me as I was already happy with the stock tuning with a couple of minor adjustments. to put it bluntly, for music and media (my primary use case), these are the best-sounding wireless devices I have; beating my older Bose wireless headphones by a wide margin. That does not mean that there aren't some drawbacks.Where I find the Accentum buds to be lacking are on two fronts; call quality and Codec support. Call quality can be described as acceptable. While it is passable for quick conversations, I had several complaints of echo and sound quality when using the buds during longer meetings. This was in a well-controlled environment so I am unsure why it was so lackluster. What I find more disappointing is the lack of LDAC support! I have buds that cost half the cost of these buds which come with LDAC support. LDAC is important to me as LDAC provides the best bandwidth on what is a very limited bandwidth network. The max bitrate I get on APTX is 770kb vs the 900+kb that is achieved with LDAC. This is mainly important when listening to lossless audio (both of these are inevitably lossy) and the lack of it on a device that costs this much is underwhelming. This oversight aside, I have grown fond of these buds.After over a month of use, these have become my daily driver for TWS. If you need a comfortable set of TWS buds that have solid tuning out-of-the-box, the Sennheiser Accentum might be a good option.
