    There are a few questions as to why you would get this over a cheaper one. First, I do like the size. Three gallons is enough to last a while and is not overly cumbersome to move. It is also nice that this comes with a bunch of options to access water. There is a rubber V-spout to pour, there's a detachable spigot in case you want to lay this on its side, and then there's the faucet attachment if you have the Dometic water faucet. For this last, this integrates wonderfully, and it's a a simple click in and you have running water.

    I wish this weren't as expensive as it is, but it's good for what it is. It's more robust than many water containers I've used.

    This is on the pricy side but, if you have the money and you like high end, high quality, durable gear I think its worth it. This product seems to be built to last for years....I have used it a hand full of times so far and really enjoy it.....for me and the way we camp (in a travel trailer) its not a necessity and there are cheaper, lesser quality options but this is a great product but maybe not for everyone. I have enjoyed it. But its a splurge item for me, but depending on how you camp or plan to use it/travel with it...it might be a necessity.

    I have got to say, I am super impressed with these jugs. This is my 3rd one and I will likely end up purchasing more. I run Rotopax as well as your standard 5 gallon water jugs. These are WAY better than the big 5 gallon jugs. If you have those, you know how bulky, heavy and awkward they are to pack. They never stay upright unless tied down. Nobody can carry them (or choose to) except the dad of the bunch. The Rotopax are great, if you also invest in the mounts and have the room on your build to put them. These domestic jugs are darn near perfect! They sit where you want them, the amount of liquid is perfect to where anyone can carry them, built tough, AND you can get a faucet for them!! WHAT?! I know, right?? No more laying your massive water jug on its side and awkwardly using the spigot (if yours has one) to wash hands, brush teeth, etc. if you are considering these, do yourself a favor and buy them! You will not be disappointed!!
