    I think to think of myself as a watch guy. I've owned many watches over the years, but I've never bit the bullet and shelled out the money for a really nice watch before. For years I was looking a the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto, it's a beautiful watch in the $500 range. I'd go look at it in the store and try it on, but just couldn't pull the trigger. One day I was determined to buy it here on Amazon, but when I typed it in, I stumbled across the Titanium version (which I had no idea existed). I was in awe of it's beauty and design. But it's list price was $1,000, double of the stainless steel version (the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto). So I decided to wait and think about which one to get. Over the next two weeks, I kept drifting back to the Titanium watch putting it in my cart almost buying it, then deleting it from my cart. I was driving myself crazy. Finally my girlfriend just told me to buy it. So I listened to her. After years of wait and mulling it over, I could not be happier. This is the nicest watch I have ever owned. I've had it for about 5 months, I wear it everyday. And it still looks brand new. Not a scratch on it, and I've bumped it and scraped it against things. Everytime I look at it, I think wow, what a great watch, I made a great choice. There is one thing about it I don't like, but it's minor. On the left hand side of the case it has printed the word "TITANIUM". It looks out of place and I don't need to advertise that the metal my watch is made from is titanium. Other than that it's a perfect watch. Keeps great time, looks beautiful. It looks sharp worn in any occasion. I could not be happier. It is amazing.

    Hamilton has a great heritage as an actual American watch maker. Like all the other great American brands, it has disappeared from our country. A part of the company has survived, and lives on as part of the Swatch Group. This has an ETA automatic movement with a display back, so you can see it ticking away. The case is titanium, and has a gunmetal PVD finish. Most striking for a man's watch. The build is top quality. I am a watch collector, and this has been one of my favorites since I got it.
