Q&A

Showing 2 out of 2 Questions
Q
How do the ceramic rollers get hot
Asked by Ally
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The ceramic core within the roller is an excellent heat conductor, which means it can transfer heat efficiently. When exposed to a heat source, such as a hair dryer, the ceramic core absorbs the heat and then transfers it to the outer layer of the roller. This heat is then applied to the hair wrapped around the roller, helping to set the curl or style. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can these rollers be used on dry hair
Asked by Ashley
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
Our rollers can be used on slightly damp or dry hair. Here are our recommended steps for how to use: 1. Section your hair 2. Place the roller at the root 3. Brush upward 4. Roll downward 5. Apply heat with a blow-dryer & leave in until hair is completely dry 6. Remove the roller by pulling gently out the side of the curlWas this answer helpful to you

Upgrade to the Velcro Roller

While I'm pretty low maintenance in my day-to-day appearance (no shade to the high maintenance folks, I appreciate your skill!) I usually like to try things and enjoy "getting ready". I have tried velcro rollers a few times over the years and like most things they have their pros & cons (lightweight...

10 Minutes of Panic and Destroyed Hair

I am writing now after ten minutes of actual terror trying to get one of the eight rollers out of my hair. My hair is long and fine, and seven of the eight rollers came out like a dream. However, there was one roller framing my face that refused to come out. Even though I had rolled it just like t...

Difficult Hair!

Well, I have fine, thin hair. So, I started using volumizers which helps for about half the day. So I saw these at Ulta and thought those might be something I should try. So I have been experimenting with them. I used a good styling spray with different dampness of my hair. It was very full (fluffy) at first but within a couple hours it fell into a very straight style. BUT - the problem was the rollers had quite a few hair strands when I removed them. I would recommend these to people with thick hair!! I am 72 so these probably weren't the best option for me. My hair is long and maybe I simply need to get it cut short!

Not self sticking

These were advertised as self adhesive. I have thin hair and even when i grab very small sections i can not get them to stick. You need a clamp to hold them in place. I only manged to get tye very large one to stick on one small section. They also leave creases in your hair because of the way they lay. I wouldnt recommend these.

Gave these a few tries and my curls lasted only a few hours. I used various hair products but curls were short lived. Happy I only ordered one set.
