EASY and EFFICIENT
This one goes to the ladies that have told themselves they are not cooks. Well, it only took 50 years, but this week, thanks to this Instant Air Fryer, I have officially become a cook! My husband purchased this beast of a machine about a month ago while I was on a work trip. I initially hated the size and did not see the benefit of owning one. As far as I was concerned, it was too bulky for our space (he purchased the larger size), and it didn’t fit the aesthetic of our kitchen. Fast forward four weeks later and my husband being away on a work trip, and me having to find a way to feed my children…..this beautiful machine has quickly become my BFF. It has made me (almost) love to cook, but most importantly, it has taught me that I don’t have to sacrifice my time in the kitchen or be fearful of tasteless or burnt food due to my inexperience (believe me, it happens often). In a matter of three days, I have cooked the juiciest pork chops and chicken breasts, corn bread, and cinnamon rolls. It’s easy and practical and if you have been thinking about purchasing one, think no more and commit! There are so many recipes online, and from now on, I will never use the stove again! I can cook now thanks to this baby!

9/1/24 - This thing almost burned my house down! I put French fries in for my kids and was just about to walk outside to grill some hamburgers when I smelled something burning. I turned around and saw smoke, the plug and outlet were burning!
8/9/24 - after using for about 7 months, only one side functions properly. Use dual or single basket and the left side says preheating the entire time and food cooks very unevenly.
I chose this air fryer as I like the option for one larger or two smaller baskets, as I was replacing a different air fryer that had the same feature but was recalled. This one is large, easy to use. As far as appearance, it's not the prettiest but it's not the worst looking either. It's fairly easy to clean and can be run through the dishwasher, which is great. The platform food sits on can be a little more difficult to clean, especially if you have a sauce on what you're cooking but a bit of scrubbing and it's good to go.
The right side (whether used as two baskets or one) does not cook as well as the left. Cannot make two separate things as we have to rotate the food from one side to another as is. The smell sometimes is awful and is a bit concerning. Tonight I went to clean in and one of the handles came loose on the bottom. A screw had come out and will not screw back in.
