If you typically straighten your hair, this tool is a game changer. For reference, I have long, curly hair that is thick and fine. I normally let my hair air dry overnight and use a flat iron in the morning to straighten. It takes so much time, I usually hate hair day. With this tool, I was able to go from wet hair to completely dry and straight in 30 minutes. It is absolutely amazing! Using a traditional hair dryer and straighter, it normally takes me at minimum 1 hour, to do that all at one time. It’s important to read the directions as they provide styling tips and give more detail on all the functions. More than enough power and heat to get the job done. Left my hair feeling so soft and shiny, no damage. So excited to keep using this tool as hair day just got easier and way more fun!
I have used the Shark Flex Style to try and straighten my hair and the Dyson is much better. It is definitely lighter to hold and took less passes on my hair to get it straight and dry from wet. The Dyson only took 2 passes per section of hair where the Shark Flex Style took 4-5 passes. Also, the sound pitch and noise level on the Dyson seems quieter than the Shark Flex Style, as it has a weird high pitch sound when compared to the Dyson. The auto sensing on the Dyson is a very nice feature as well that the Shark Flex Style lacks. All in all, if straightening is your go to style, this tool is worth every penny!

Amazing product
The pictures attached are from dripping wet, to finished result. I have what I would describe as fine, thin hair. It’s naturally kind of wavy, with a lot of frizz and flyaways. For that reason I like to straighten my hair. This product sounded perfect for that reason. Blow dry AND straighten?! Sign me up. Sounded too good to be true. And yet…It’s not a miracle product, by any means. It doesn’t tame all my flyaways. But it truly did give me the result I wanted, with one tool instead of two. Is it worth $500? No. Nothing is, tbh. But if you have that kind of money to spare and HATE the time it takes to dry and straighten your hair, this is the product for you.

Seriously...this is a game changer! I have all the other Dyson hair styling products & this one ranks as high as my air wrap system. I have naturally curly coarse hair and as I don't have high hopes it will do the job for me in the warmer humid months... I can't tell you how amazing this worked and how healthy & soft my hair felt afterwards! And I used NO smoothing or straightening products at all! This is so amazing I included a photo... which I am to self conscious to ever do or have ever done but I just had to share. I know they are expensive products... but I think it is so worth it!
