  • This product is falsely advertised- these are not sponge gauze- their net gauze. When I cancelled the order the seller still sent to me and would not allow me to return. Poor business practice

    These work well once you get them set up and together! The assembly is very quick, simple, and easy and is complete in a matter of a couple minutes!

    The actually rods and holder are all made of a thick plastic, the canisters and lids are the only metal components of the product! I do worry that the plastic will melt while in use as it is very close to the top of the canister and wick.

    These are not easy to place in the ground and are rather difficult to get to stay in place, several of them have fallen over multiple times even after the placement has been perfected and assured. They bend very easily and are not very sturdy at all, I would not recommend putting near any sort of decking, furniture, or structure as they do still sway in the slightest breeze even when they stay upright and do not fall.

    Something you should know and highly consider prior to purchasing—these are aesthetically nice as they are made out of plastic, which is convenient and durable for weather. However, the functionality is very poor because you cannot reopen the metal canisters to refill after use. Possibly due to the heat. Regardless, I am very disappointed and hopeful that I can find replacement containers.

    I like them, my only problem is that they don't come with a screw on cover, especially since the groves are on imprinted on it. Windy t-storms will blow off the the smothering device attached to to it and the wick will get wet. Other than that I'm happy.
