Q: The company will not answer this question. I want to know if the nonstick crisper plates contain PFAS / PTFE / teflon. I know it is 'nano-ceramic' but what does that mean? Is it made with PFAS?

A: Here you have what is made of our Crispi. The Container is Borosilicate glass with BPA free plastic handles, the adapter is BPA free plastic and metal, the Crisper plates are made of Aluminum with a nano-ceramic coating.

A: The glass containers, adapter and crisper plates can be washed in the dishwasher. If food residue is stuck on the containers, adapter, or crisper plate, place them in a sink filled with warm, soapy water and allow to soak. Thoroughly air-dry or towel-dry all parts after cleaning. The lids can be washed in the dishwasher (top rack only) or by hand.

I normally do not leave reviews, but this little portable air fryer deserves the praise! I bought the ninja crispi when it was first released (6 months ago). I had been waiting for, what seemed like an eternity for a portable air fryer that I can take to work and recrisp my leftovers like, eggrolls, gyoza, pizza, taquitos, etc. or simply air frying my chicken, pork, beef... Well, let me just say this air fryer has been a game changer!!!! this has completely exceeded and surpassed my expectations. I SIMPLY LOVE IT! It heats up so fast and re-crisps everything in less than 10 minutes. I plug it in at my desk at work and work away until I hear that lovely ninja beep, in the meantime I enjoy the smell that fills my office... ok ok I getting off track lol... In conclusion, this gadget is used for what it was intended to (a portable air fryer) it does not have the capacity to cook excessively large meals, but it will handle daily meals flawlessly. Don't expect the same result as you would of a hefty air fryer that is marketed as such. But if you are looking for something small enough to take to work and re-heat your meals and bring back that crispiness that you are looking for, air fry some chicken thighs, or simply re-heat your meals than this is your product. I have yet to be disappointed in it. Hope this review helps some of you in deciding if it is right for you... P.S. currently re-crisping jack in the box tacos for lunch today ;).

I was very skeptical about it but it really surprised me in a very positive way, it cooks fantastically and it is also so portable, it take it to work every day with no problem. It is nice but I have yet to not burn the outside of everything I cook. I've followed the listed instructions for times & cooking setting. Red potatoes were dark on the outside and dry in the middle. Chicken breast's were burnt on the outside before the inside was the right temp. I tried different setting, so bake instead of air fry, etc. Different amount of times and keeping my eye on it. Everything I tried had pretty much the same outcome. Other biggest flaw, you cannot adjust the temperature and it does not even tell you what the temp is for each setting. Googling it, you end up with 10 different answers. I can't say that it may not be user error, but it's not as easy as they make it look and sound. I'm disappointed.
