for viewing 4k movies! The picture and sound quality are absolutely amazing. I didn’t use the provided HDMI, as I have far superior cables (the ones provided are the minimum required). So, my review is based on using a 4k, 8k, 10k, 120 Hz, 48 GPS, HDMI 2.1 cable. The slim design allows it to be placed discretely out of sight. I read a lot of reviews that mentioned the player freezes up while playing a 4k movie. That’s because the default setting on the player has the 4k upscaling turned on (for non-4k movies. The upscaling works great as well!). When playing a 4k movie, it doesn’t need to be upscaled. Turn off that feature and the player works flawlessly. For those looking to upgrade their home entertainment system without breaking the bank, this is a phenomenal player!
