This thing.....it's my best friend. Hands down, no joke, I'm in love. I don't use it everyday, and sometimes not for a week or so, but when I need it, it's there. And it never fails, as soon as I use it for something I'm looking around the kitchen to see what else I can slice/chop/shred, because it's fun to use and mind-glowingly simple. I'm upset with myself for waiting so long to buy this. It is the most expensive thing I've ever bought for my kitchen (appliances not included), and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. The only thing is it's too tall to fit on my counter, beneath the upper cabinets. If you're a tad OCD about your countertops being clutter-free like I am, this will only bother you for all of 5 minutes until you use it. It now has a place of honor on my peninsula because 1) it's too heavy to move around all the time, and 2) it deserves it.
I came up with a list of reasons that justify the expense, because I'm cheap and had to convince myself to buy this, and since having it I have added to the list exponentially. If you're a penny-pincher like I am and are fighting with yourself, please use the following reasons to make your culinary life easier.
You can use it to "grind" meat, thus saving grocery money. You'll no longer fight with uneven tomato/onion/potato slices. Kids (and kitchen-disaster spouses) can operate it without issue- as long as they're competent enough to not cut themselves. Safety features- there's no way you're getting a body part anywhere near those blades while they're running, just use common sense when handling them. It's dishwasher safe, but also insanely easy to hand-wash (no crevices for food to hide in). Homemade salsa, spaghetti sauce, salsa verde, and 100 other things are stupid easy to whip up with this doing all the work. The shredder attachment will save your knuckles from the box shredder of doom. It'll last you practically forever, and will make you want to try foods you've never made before, just because you can.

I’m in love with a food processor.
This product honestly saved my life. Lol I have a special needs daughter who can only eat purees. I’ve been using a baby food maker for about three years and it took well over three hours to puree her dinners and that would only last us a few days. This bad boy pureed 14 cups of spaghetti o’s in 3 minutes. That’s a weeks worth of dinner for my toddler. When I say this was worth the money, I mean it. And you can take my word for it because I’m frugal person and spending $300 on this was a big jump for me. It was so easy to clean and the assembly was simple. If I could skip around joyfully with this machine and take it out for a nice steak dinner, I would. But that would also be very weird.

It took me months of reading and watching videos to finally decide to buy this brand of food processor. I have not been disappointed one bit! I was really thinking I should save and get a Breville. But I made the plunge that fit my budget much better. I have made pizza dough that turned out wonderful and so fast. I make cauliflower rice all the time. It is so fast and easy. It's definitely better to try to have your floweretts all cut about the same size. I make butter every week which is delicious and fun and I make home made peanut butter that my husband loves. I also have used it now several times for pie dough and empanada dough. It is super fast and easy and has turned out perfectly every time. It is very sturdy and doesn't move at all on the counter while I make my dough. It also grates cheese evenly and with very little waste.. Clean up is pretty easy too. I wash it right after I use it, in hot soapy water and rinse well. The only complaint I have is that there are a couple of places that you can't get in with a towel to dry. But I have found if I just leave it out on a towel for a few hours exposed to the air, those dry completely as well. Also, I have found that if I dry it with a tea towel it comes out shiny and new looking. I don't use it for chopping garlic, but I tried it once and it worked. It's just easier to do that by hand with little clean up afterward. I wanted to cover these points for you to hopefully make your decision faster than mine. It works just great and is much more budget friendly. I am very happy with my purchase.
