Le Domaine is a day and night cream for normal to dry skin. I have mature (55+), dry and sensitive skin, and this cream agrees with my skin well and hasn’t caused any irritation. I‘m so glad it lacks fragrant essential oils as they’re in so many creams these days, and many irritate my skin and trigger headaches more than regular fragrance.Le Domaine does have parfum (fragrance) - which is a common irritant - but I think it’s a light and pleasing gender neutral scent and at least it’s in the bottom 5 ingredients. It hasn’t irritated my skin or triggered any headaches, and this cream feels comforting and soothing to my easily agitated skin. While I can smell the cream while applying it, I don’t notice it once applied to my face, neck and décolleté.I usually use different day and night creams as most creams aren’t rich enough for both, but I’ve been using Le Domaine consistently day and night for a few weeks and it does a great job keeping my dry skin well hydrated and comfortable day and night. The simplicity of using the same cream is a nice change and I like the benefits I’m getting so far.My skin can get flaky, but I don’t have any flakiness since I’ve been using Le Domaine consistently. This cream has a really nice whipped consistency with a texture that’s dense and rich, yet it absorbs well and isn’t greasy or oily. I don’t need to apply much for my skin to be hydrated and soft. This has hyaluronic acid that also plumps my skin so my fine lines look less noticeable, and my skin has a smoother and slightly firmer appearance.This is a full size 1.7 oz cream even though it looks kind of small given the oversized but luxe and attractive oak barrel lid. A standard lid is included that’s more practical for travel, and a spatula is included too. I don’t have other products in the line, but the cream pairs well with all cleansers, serums and oils I’ve teamed it with. No creams perform miracles, but I enjoy using this cream and my easily irritated skin looks and feels great. Love it. 5 stars. Made in France.

    Le Domaine offers a high end skincare range that contains luxurious ingredients. The product suggests using it for at least 28 days to see improvements in our skin. I've been using the series for 30 days now. I do feel that the products are good quality. I like the fragrance and how it feels upon application. My skin does feel nice. However, I already practiced good skin care prior to using Le Domaine. I don't see an improvement over what I was already using. I struggled with the star rating. The cream is very nice, but I find it equal to other creams I've tried for a quarter of the price.

    This cream smells very pleasant. It reminds me of almond, vanilla, tobacco, and tea. The texture is smooth and easy to apply. I found that my skin feels moisturized and nourished. Le Domaine suggests using the serum twice daily, the lotion in the morning, and the cream at night. I followed their advice all month.

    An In house study of 33 men and women between the ages of 45 and 63 found their skin to be more hydrated for several hours after use. Most found their skin to feel more nourished after 28 days. Quite honestly, these results are not extraordinary when compared to similar products that are much more affordable.

    Le Domaine contains mysterious patented ingredients, GSM10 and PROGR3, and makes vague claims without large published studies to back them up. According to their site, each product was tested on approximately 33 subjects. Although the product now bills itself as an anti-aging skincare routine, Brad Pitt outright says there is no such thing as anti-aging. And he's right. He goes on to say it's about aging well. I also agree. There are a lot of way to go abut that. I'm not sure the cream or product line fits in with my personal needs or goals for aging well.

    As soon as I saw the Le Domaine Luxury Face Cream packaging, I couldn't help but notice the care and pride in the product the manufacturer has. The outer box protected a clean lined inner presentation box with a magnetic closure. The company core value is printed in gold on the inside cover noting "Derived of science and terroir to be one with both nature and your own nature. This is harmony. This is respect. This is Le Domaine." The glass bottle holding the face cream is topped with a solid wood topper with a brass accent piece highlighting the manufacturer name. I would later learn that the glass is made from recycled glass and the wood is upcycled oak leftover from the Perrin's barrels. The manufacturer cleverly included a simple plastic travel lid making the product easy to tuck into a makeup bag, purse, or carry-on when you are on the go. The ivory colored cream is rich, thick, and creamy. The fragrance is natural and calming and can be enjoyed by both men and women. The cream has a whipped texture that is easy to access with the included tortoise shell colored resin spatula. Once applied, the cream absorbed into my skin quickly without leaving a residue or tacky feeling to my skin. After several days of use, I am in awe of how healthy and radiant my skin looks. My skin feels moisturized, is soft to the touch, looks more even in appearance, and feels refreshed. The cream is made with high quality ingredients including grape water, organic olive oil, organic shea butter, ayurvedic plant extract and two patent pending ingredients: GMS10 and Progr3. When it comes to price, it is noticeably higher than the cream that I usually use. If I had the income of a celebrity like investor, Brad Pitt, I would add this to my beauty routine immediately. However, I will need to reserve this as a special occasion gift for myself. If your budget allows you to add this to Amazon cart, I highly recommend you do so. This is a fantastic face cream that made a noticeable improvement to my skin. I just wish I had an unlimited budget as I would definitely add this to my Amazon cart again. Until then, I will save the bottle to repurpose until a special occasion occurs and I can add another bottle to my Amazon cart.

    I had to try it and see for myself what a $242 cream feels like. It comes nicely displayed with an alternate cover that's more practical than decorative in case you don't want that wood-like cover derived from old wine barrels. To my surprise, I liked this cream. It has a really clean fresh scent. I want to say it has a hint of lime. It has a mousse-like texture. When I applied it, I was under the impression that because it felt matte, it would look that way, but after applying, my skin was dewy - and it stayed that way all day. The cooler months will be here soon and my skin needs this kind of treatment. I'll just have to hide this jar so no one else uses it since I can't afford to replace it!
    I want to tell you that this cream is great - because it really is nice. I just can't get over the price. I would rather they used the simple cover and skipped the decorative one if it would bring down the cost, but I actually think that's part of the allure - it's artsy. So let me be clear, if I were only reviewing the cream itself - it does feel luxurious and it is moisturizing - and for that I'd give it 5 stars. But seriously, I can't ignore the price tag. I don't want to punish it for being pricey but there are a gazillion creams on the market that also smell really nice and cost a fraction of this. Because of this, 4 stars seems more appropriate.

    I was surprised how strong of a fragrance this has! It’s almost like applying perfumed body butter to my face. Added fragrance in skincare usually means it’s going to have a drying effect for me.
