I’ve been using this product for a couple of months now and it is by far the favorite piece of cookware in the house. Don’t need as much if any cooking spray given the surface type and it is extremely easy to clean. It hasn’t scratched yet, but we have you avoided using metal utensils. It is not too heavy, but it’s very balanced. The design reduces crook time and very evenly distributes heat while cooking. The coding is super super tough. I would highly recommend.

    I had read so many reviews before deciding to purchase, and I came to one conclusion from so many people writing bad reviews — you all don’t know how to cook! I have cooked fish, seared a steak, cooked scrambled eggs with cheese, poached an egg, fried bacon, made a bourbon reduction sauce with molasses and the consistent result from all these — everything was cooked to perfection and literally slid right out of the pan.

    I wanted to try these particular pans because for so long I’ve used Lodge cast iron pans. Don’t get me wrong my cast iron pans are amazing but the constant maintenance can be exhausting. The Hexclad pan is being promoted as a hybrid of stainless steel, the durability of cast iron, and completely non-stick. They didn’t disappoint. Plus they’re so much lighter than my cast iron skillets and cleanups are a breeze.

    Let me give anyone who reads this a few tips:

    #1 Follow the directions given in the package.

    #2 Please, put a buffer between what you’re cooking and the pan. I use beef tallow, lard, or ghee. And please whatever you do, stay away from seed oils. Not only are they extremely unhealthy for you but their high heat points can’t cut it like natural fats.

    #3 Cook on low to medium heat. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll be surprised at how well these pans heat up.

    #4 When using any stainless steel utensils, don’t dig into the pan or use a fork with the tines down scraping the bottom, or doing the same thing with a knife, or ….. you get the point. See what I did there? Point?

    And lastly #5 …… refer back to #2 and you won’t go wrong. Watching some of the videos where someone is cooking scrambled eggs without a buffer — what did you think was going to happen!? SMH

This pan is a little heavier than what most of you are use to with your Teflon pans; that’s because they’re made from quality materials. I am disappointed they’re made in China, but they are designed and planned here in the US.

    So the reason for writing this update is, and as I stated earlier, I really love this pan. So much so I purchased the complete set. Everyone has their own set of pans they love, and all I’m doing is giving you my two cents worth.

    As of right now 11.21.2024, Hexclad has their Black Friday sale. Check them out as you won’t be disappointed.

    I have a couple Hexclad pans already so I knew this one would be just as good as the others. It is significantly more heavy than your typical frying pan but I think it adds to the value and quality of the item. It is non-stick but doesn't contain the dangerous coating that other non-stick pans do. It's so easy to clean. Food washes right off with little effort. The size is as advertised. Cooking with it has been amazing. Food cooks more evenly and faster. This pan definitely delivers!

    HexClad is the best pan that I have ever used. It sits flat on my electric stove and cooks evenly on lower heat. I love that it is scratch resistant. I bought the 10" size and it works well for most of my needs. HexClad cleans up well with a scouring pad or sponge. While it does cost a little more, I don't think that I'll have to buy another one if I take care of this one. I'm tired of buying cheaper coated pans that last a year and then throwing them out in a year. Best buy that i've made recently.

    I've only used this pan a few times, but so far, I'm very happy. I followed the instructions for seasoning. I've cooked steak, chicken, lamb, and eggs at medium on a gas stove. The pan cooks as well as advertised and cleans up easily.
    There was an issue cooking eggs over easy, even after cooking bacon and hash browns first. I had not added any more oil or butter to the pan, and the eggs stuck. Still, the pan was cleaned up by just running hot water over it.
    I've just ordered the 10" wok. I purposely did not order a set because it contains pans that I would rarely use. The 10" frying pan and wok are good for me because I'm only cooking for 1 or 2 people.
    Overall, I would recommend Hexclad. The Costco-branded pans may be just as good, but I would rather pay the extra money and get something that will probably last longer.

    Works very well with canola oil, not so much olive oil in my experience. It heats up well, I’ve had it for about 3-4 months with no warping. It feels high quality, but it will stick with olive oil in my experience but not so much with canola oil. It will occasionally get some buildup but I typically use baking soda and vinegar in it and let it sit for about an hour and use I bristle brush to clean it. I also use a metal spatula and it has had no issues handling it. The weight feels good and the coating has lasted so far. Overall a good pan.

    Literally received 2 days ago and have already cooked amazing things from fried eggs to a seared NY strip. Best non-stick pan I've worked with. Please following the cure/seasoning instructions. You'll have to make adjustments for your stove top heat though. Although the heat of the pan is very evenly distributed, my electric stove top burners needed to be turned up to medium high to get the heat I need to sear the NY strip steak.

    I wanted a larger non stick frying pan and decided on this one. It was pricey but is very good quality. Make sure to season as directed by the package insert. I did so and have used it many times now cooking eggs, chicken and pork. It heats pretty evenly for such a large pan and is easy to clean afterwards. The added dome lid is also very useful and is also of great quality.
    To be sure, it's expensive but after many uses I would say it is definitely worth the extra $.

PERO tienes que saber utilizarlo correctamente, es decir el hecho que sea antiadherente no significa que no debas usar aceite y es muy importante precalentar con aceite y a fuego alto/medio por un minuto aprox, luego poner la flama media/baja al poner tus alimentos.
    Veo algunas reseñas y fotos de comida pegada, no creo que lean las INSTRUCCIONES porque claramente lo dice: NO es para usar con fuego Alto.
