1. What apps and voice assistants are compatible with Dog Camera?

Compatible with the eufy Pet app. Alexa voice compatibility will be available soon.

2. What size of treats can be used with the pet camera? Can I cut treats in half?

Use treats between 0.24-0.6” (6-16mm). You can cut treats, but we do not recommend it.

3. Can I use dog food?

Not recommended. Use treats that will get your dog excited to play with you and Dog Camera.

4. Can I control the number of treats tossed?

No, the number of treats launched varies according to the shape and size of your specific treats.

5. Can I replace the memory card? Does Dog Camera support cloud storage?

No, the 16GB storage is built into Dog Camera. Cloud storage is not supported at this time.

6. Can I record my own commands to play when the treat launches?

Yes, you can add up to 3 customized commands in Settings>Tossing Sound & Commands.

7. Can my family members and I connect to Dog Camera at the same time?

Currently not, but Dog Camera will support this feature soon.

8. How does Dog Camera achieve its 360° view?

With 270° rotation and a 170° wide-angle lens (143° horizontal angle), Dog Camera is able to achieve a complete 360° view around your room.

This camera didn’t have any significant bad reviews so I decided to spend the extra money to buy this one.I don’t have any complaint about this camera. I only turn it on when I leave the house, and you can adjust your settings to “notify when there’s movement” , “notify when there’s sound” , “notify when there’s barking” or have all of the notifs on, and you can adjust sensitivity.       I got this for my brother and sis-in-law to use with their dogs quite a long while ago and forgot to write a review about it; which is fine, because we’ve had a great few years with this amazing tool. When they first got their rescue pup, he struggled with severe separation anxiety and would tear up things if they stepped out even for a few minutes; they got a second rescue dog who helped abate this issue. So, to watch them while they go to dinner or the grocery store or a movie, they turn on the camera and tune in periodically to check on them. They (the humans and the dogs) love it! The second dog doesn’t like the treat shooting function, but that’s because he has severe anxiety around sound/sudden movement.

      Easy to setup, with an app that you can easily access and watch the dogs while out and about. The camera quality is quite clear, with the ability to turn the field of view to capture large rooms. There’s a feature to talk to the pets and throw treats their way. This is still going strong and used many times throughout the week.

      I bought this camera so I could check in on my cat while I am at work. The camera works very well and it will notify and record your pet’s movements. It will even send you a daily video diary with clips of your pet’s movements. What I like is that storage of the videos is local so no need to pay monthly fees and no chance of storage hacks.

      Using the app, you can move the camera to pan from side to side. You can even schedule the days and times the camera is on. The treat function is great as it dispenses a few treats at a time (I loaded it with Greenies dental treats). It has not clogged up and will alert you when the treat storage is low. It will even play a quacking-like sound to alert your pet that treats are about to be delivered. You can even speak to your pet. Would highly recommend for those who want to keeps tabs on their pets.

      When I first got this pet cam I was highly impressed it was pretty much plug and play it was easy to sync with Wi-Fi. Really good video quality. But over time I noticed when I’d check in on the camera at work it’d say it’s offline, which one of the things I hate about this camera is there is no way to restart it unless you’re connected to you’re home Wi-Fi which if you’re at work or out and about you’re not going to be. So it’d go offline and basically you’re screwed until you get home to reset it. Which if it happened as a one off you’d be fine. But over time I noticed it goes offline a lot to the point where it’s inoperable. At first I thought it was my Wi-Fi but my Wi-Fi is pretty damn good, but I checked my Wi-Fi it’s all good. Everything else in my home was connected to the Wi-Fi except the pet cam. For the price of this unit and the problems you could have like myself I’d look into other pet cams.

      Update- So I was still having issues with this camera one thing I forgot to mention it seems to go offline when turning the camera. If you accidentally turn the camera it will go offline when your not home. Good luck getting it back online without being home. Also did a hard reset thinking that would correct the problem. No it just made it so I couldn’t connect the camera to my Wi-Fi. It took a few hours of adjusting my settings for my Wi-Fi to make sure I was running 2.4 ghz finally got it connected. 5 minutes later same problems. Didn’t fix one thing. I think I may have got a dud. Or else this company is just junk. Buyer beware!

      2nd Update- Moved it to another room farther away from the Wi-Fi router. Now it works fine. There must have been some kind of interference?! Still a lot of headache for such of a expensive camera.

      I've purchased a couple of cameras from Eufy, the pet cam worked great for a year and then kept disconnecting, I was able to remove and readd the camera a few times, but this time the LED light won't even display. The camera is totally dead and I'm outside of the the warranty which is only good for 12 months. They offered me a 15% discount if I wanted to purchase a new one, but I'm not trying to spend $200ish for a camera that is broken in 18 months. Don't waste your money, it's not worth the cost.

      Well, I bought four in total was excellent at the beginning. One of them after two months just stop working all of a sudden I had no issues. The light won’t turn on. I even tried to change the power source. I change the power cord. It’s the machine it stopped working.

      No money subscription required...

      It have Artificial Intelligence in it to identify the human from the Dog.. and record accordingly..

      Mutlifactor authentication is securing your local storage of video recording and it over-write it after it is near full.. so it doesn't go anywhere outside of your control.

      One minor negative point .. it might get confused for pet tracking feature if you have more than one pet.
      I don't see it very required though.
