I wasn't sure what to expect from this, especially after reading the instructions but upon opening the package and not finding this 'mist' included in the package. I realize that this is probably just a rough translation from the Korean but probably could have clarified that the mist is not included and maybe would have helped to explain or suggest what mist would be good to use--even if just water was an option.
They do at least tell you to use dry hands, which probably would have helped if I had been better at thoroughly drying my hands because if your hands are in the minutest wet--it will straight up start 'melting' the collagen layer of the film. At least they do use different colored protective film so that helps in distinguishing what is the actual layer you are utilizing.
To be honest that was pretty poorly explained and I was expecting some thin mask like material that would 'melt' into my skin vs be absolutely not visible except as a solid white film against the white mesh. I only realized that the film that is the collagen is literally activated by anything wet (in this case my partially dried hands) and luckily I had applied some serum on my neck so once I removed the pink layer and pressed the white mesh against my neck for a few seconds-it went clear and apparently it was now 'melted' into my skin.
To be fair, they try to illustrate this on the packages but I think that it is hard to explain that the actual collagen film is attached to the white mesh and won't 'peel' off like a traditional mask or film layer that most people are expecting. Whether this did anything is hard to say because like I said, I had applied a serum layer to which the film stuck but after that it wasn't like I could feel anything distinctly on my neck. I guess I will try all 5 layers and see if after the run my neck seems different?
Advice---use dry hands. Pre-mist or pre-serum your forehead or neck (wherever you are applying this) and then remove the pink layer. Place the white mesh on your neck, rougher side not on the skin. Wait until it goes clear (minus the mesh) and that's it.

I totally forgot film masks like these exist and didn't expect it to be more of a film. With that being said, make sure you touch it with completely dry hands otherwise it will essentially dissolve. Also, make sure you have some water, or liquid on hand. I didn't want to splash water back on my face, but my forehead was still a bit moist from washing so I was able to adhere most of it. The instructions imply to get rid of both protective pieces of fabric/netting, but I kept the netting on, placed the film on my forehead and it was significantly easier to manage. The mask itself is slightly larger than my whole forehead so it did run into my hairline so I tried my best to get it to fit. I didn't have a spray bottle of water on hand, so I just used my toner, and it dissolved nicely to the point where I felt comfortable enough to remove the netting, and sprayed it a bit more since I could still see some of the film. Regardless, there's a bit of a different learning curve here to manage application. Once it dried down, I felt a tightness, and there was a noticeable film still but it left some kind of brilliance and sheen on the surface of my skin. It's super light, mostly comfortable, and throughout the day it became a little less noticeable. Either way it did smooth out and hydrate some lines on my forehead, but I don't expect it to be a long time fix. It's definitely interesting and fascinating so I reckon by the time I make my way through the other 4 masks, I'll have a technique down pat. I'm interested to see how it'll react under makeup and I appreciate the collagen, hyaluronic acid and other skin loving ingredients it contains.
