Great location. Tastefully and conservatively updated old building right on the Plaza Mayor. Staff including housekeeping & comforter were super friendly & helpful. The rooms and gym/pool are very small not surprisingly, given the age of the building. Very easy to get around especially around the central sites of Madrid. Appropriately priced. I would easily stay there again.

Excellent Hotel, with very attentive staff. Ridiculously great location if you want to be walking distance to a ton of things Tons of bars and restaurants, also you are ON plaza mayor. Get the room with breakfast, otherwise it’s 💶 25 each. The design of the room is perfect with great shower, blackout electric blinds and Nesspresso machine in room Great bed and linens, we are staying here again in December

Breakfast room was lovely and good selection. I was kindly given a room change after I mentioned too much noise being located next to the lift on night 1 , one thing I would say is you could offer guests bottles of still water if they needed them as when I asked this was not available. Could be a simple improvement. Staff on second day seemed much happier and friendly also .

What an incredible place. Every encounter with those who work there, from the restaurant to the front desk to the cleaning staff, was impeccable. These folks really know what they are doing and how to make their guests feel at home.

WE ARRIVED ON Dec 25th AND MY FATHER PASSED AWAY SO WE HAD TO TAKE A FLIGHT BACK TO LOS ANGELES, WE ONLY USED 1 NIGHT AND WE EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO THE HOTEL AND THEY HIT US WITH ONE ADDITIONAL DAY AS A CANCELLATION FEE!!! THAT IS NOT RIGHT, THEY DIDNT WANT TO WAIVE THAT FEE, NEVER AGAIN!!!
