What we think

When SF’s tech billionaires talk about scooping up their own ranch getaways, it’s Stanly they’re fantasizing about, thanks to this resort’s residential real estate offerings. This newly opened retreat—set on 96 acres of a 712-acre spread—is chockablock with calming, restorative things that add a jolt of pep to anyone’s step, no matter how bedraggled their work-week. Take the guest rooms themselves, each of which maximise Napa’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle with soaring ceilings and glass walls that fold open onto private terraces overlooking the rolling vineyards. Even the starter category would satisfy the Elon Musk’s of the world, with its sculptural soaking tub, outdoor shower ringed by leafy gardens, and firepit beckoning off the private terrace. To sprawl out even further, the Rambler Suite has two bedrooms tucked in its 1,464-square-foot floor plan, plus a soaring fireplace in the living room and, yes, two separate private al fresco showers—one for each bedroom.
