We loved the hotel. Highlights were complimentary breakfast and great bed and shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again. Only negative was our stairs to room were steep, slippery especially on day it rained. Next visit we will ask for room in adjacent bldg that has elevator.

Beautiful boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown Charleston. Very easy to walk to most of the popular spots in Charleston, especially the market, Meeting Street, east Bay Street and king street. The rooms were very nice and easy to get to. The breakfast, which was included with our room, was very good and the setting was wonderful! We enjoyed sitting in the 4th floor, window- filled dining room that looked over Charleston while we ate. The only drawback was the rooms are pretty small, the beds were doubles, not queens (there were 3 of us) and the bathroom was so small you could barely turn around in it. Also there was only 1 mirror in the entire room and that made getting ready difficult for 3 women. Overall it was a great stay. Maybe best for a couple as far as space is concerned, though.

The Andrew Pinckney is a quaint, well-maintained property. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is near many restaurants, historical sites, and lots of shopping opportunities. There is no place to park around the hotel so you are more or less required to use their $28 a day valet parking (which seems steep, especially after you tip the attendant). Our shower head was merely adequate. I like a lot of water pressure which it did not deliver. The free breakfast was very good with a wide variety of both hot and cold food. The food attendant, Miss Cynthia was extremely accommodating. We were all in all pleased and would consider staying there again for an upcoming wedding.

The setting was so charming. We loved breakfast each morning and the cocktail hour during the evening. Staff was friendly with each and every interaction. We cannot wait to return to the Andrew Pickney Inn!
