If you lean towards classical and traditional interiors with a modern twist, The Peninsula Bangkok is as close as it gets to heaven. Tucked within a soaring tower, the hotels guest rooms are inarguably ginormous—starting at 485 square feet—and all room options include teak foyers, walk-in wardrobes and even sitting areas to allow you ample places for R&R. We love the Deluxe Balcony Rooms for their marble-lined bathrooms and private balcony overlooking the cityscape; ask for one on the 22nd floor for the best views. Another favorite? The aptly named Thai Suite, where the gracious 1,507 square foot floor plan includes a gilt carved Thai bed and silk upholstered furniture—with jaw-dropping views from the 36th floor.

The Lobby - Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. In time honoured tradition, The Peninsula's renowned Afternoon Tea is served at The Lobby, accompanied by live music. An all-day, a la carte menu is also ideal for breakfast, power lunches or a light, sophisticated dinner.

The Bar - Open for 5 p.m. - 12 a.m. The Bar's skilled mixologists have refined an impressive selection of internationally known and loved cocktails, which they mix with precision and passion. Alternatively, look to an extensive list of wines and rare spirits from around the globe.
