Love my google nest hub max...its fun to connect with my girls and grandchildren, listen to music, find recipes and just everything you want to know you can ask.

Good value the person I bought it from or the store I bought it from off of walmart.com sells a lot of refurbished stuff but this actually was brand new from what I can tell and and original packaging. no issues whatsoever. I wish Google had never quit making these!

Google Hub Maxx

An excellent upgrade over the standard sized Google Nest Hub.  Bear in mind that if you wish to use the camera as a Nest Camera, you will need to subscribe to Nest Aware to be able to keep video and events.  If like me, you already have Nest cameras, it works out well.  Also note, the camera does not have night vision, so it really isn't very functional at night unless you leave a light on for it. 
The sound quality is excellent and makes watching YouTube videos pleasant.  But, remember, you can't watch Amazon Prime Video on it, so if you use that, you'll have to use another device.

Excellent Larger-Sized Home Hub

For me, Hey Google answers MUCH better than Alexa. Commands are easier, you don't have to have exact words. Only 2 downfall after having the big Echo Show is that Google doesn't seem to be as versatile with your Home Screen, and the speaker is MUCH better on the Alexa.

I'm happy with what I need my Google for!

The Google hub was received in a timely manner. I got a great deal on it. I was a little surprised that it did not come in sealed Google box as there was no indication it was an open box item. It did start up ok and appeared to have no wear on it

Great deal but was an open box item

This device is only good in one room and that is the kitchen! It does amazing with recipes and how to videos, but it’s nothing different you can’t do with an android phone or apples siri. I returned mine a week after having it for these reasons; The sound quality! If you’re like me and like to have your music loud, but sound good, this isn’t for you. once you get it up to a certain level it sounds very distorted and screech like. my second reason; The microphone. if you’re watching or listening to something a little ways away from the device and try to talk to it like normal, good luck. i had to scream at it and that’s if it understood me. often times i would say something and it would have something completely different than what i had said. Response time; my google home mini responded faster than the hub. Which you’d think it’d be the other way around given this one is $220 dollars more and it understood me better. Also, this isn’t really a hint, but more of a heads up. This is not like an ipad or tablet, you have to control it only by your voice and search netflix and youtube with your voice ( i knew this before buying it, but i’m just letting you know ).  The good things; it was quite easy to set up and use, it worked well with my home devices ( if it understood what i was saying ), and was good for music at low volumes. But for what i was using it for, it just wasn’t worth the almost $250 price tag.

Don’t get yourself in the trap.

Purchase on line a electronic picture frame. Before the frame was delivered WM had dropped the price by $25.  Other vendors dropped their price by $45.
I returned the unopened frame  because WM would not price match.  Even though I paid WM for the purchase I did not get a refund .  Was told WM contracted with a third party and the 3rd party would have to refund my money, which can take up  to 2 weeks.  WM did ship the frame back to the 3rd party.  This is sad because some people can not afford to buy Christmas presents because their money is tied up.  WM took my money instantly, but I must wait until a third party refunds my money.

Disappointed

The home won't connect to our outside Google cameras. It doesn't hear properly when you say “hey Google” and it only makes Google phone calls some of the time.

Doesn't work

This product was not what i expected.  its really not much more then a speaker.  You can't add apps, you can't load or view anything from Google Drive, you can't adjust the angle of the tilted screen and you cant view all your calendars with in the account that you subscribe or share.  I had a chromebook and a Bose Bluetooth speaker in my kitchen to view my homemade recipes and view the chorelist for the kids.  I just wanted to replace the two items with one and add the handfree feature and touchscreen assuming it was a Google Tablet mounted to a good speaker.  Google let me down and I'm starting to rethink the idea of investing as much as I do in Google!  Sad but design and functionality of their products is not whats is expected.
