Product Description

Our winter running mittens for women will keep you cozy through all of your favorite winter sports.
Do you like the warmth of winter mittens, but get annoyed by the loss of dexterity? These insulated mittens zip open, allowing you to pull your hands out without taking your mittens off. You can easily respond to a text, or grab your keys out of your pocket, then zip the mittens back up and continue on your run. The zipper track is also reflective providing a bit of extra visibility during the darker days of winter.
The Primaloft insulation will keep you cozy while you are running on the streets or skiing on the slopes. We recommend these women’s winter mittens for temperatures 10F+. Please note that our women’s mittens are designed for aerobic activity so our temperature recommendations are made with a moderate activity level in mind.
To further enhance your warmth, these cold weather mittens have extended cuffs. They tuck easily into a jacket sleeve to lock in warmth. A Velcro tab allows you to adjust the fit around your wrist. On the cuff you’ll also find a pull-loop to help you pull your mittens into place.
These thick mittens for women are made with recycled materials. The shell is 92% recycled polyester, and the insulation is 70% recycled polyester.
These womens mittens are available in 2 sizes. To find the best fit for you check out our size chart. For those looking for an even larger option, we do make a men’s version of this style. To care for your mittens machine wash them on a cold delicate cycle and lay them flat to dry.
Ready for all your cold weather activities from running, to cross country skiing to snowboarding, you’ll enjoy the warmth and convenience of these women’s zip mitts.

We’re a small, family business based in Kent, CT.
Back when we first launched, we worked out of a one bedroom apartment and we sold a handful of styles almost exclusively to running specialty retailers in the northeast.
Since that time, our team, product line and reach have grown considerably. We now work out of a small farmhouse in Kent, CT, located a short warm-up jog from the Appalachian Trail -- our “go to” testing ground for the cool gear we design.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2025Size: Small/MediumVerified PurchaseI’ve coveted these for ages and am not disappointed. I use them for cold weather (0-35°F) runs and hikes and they’re perfect warmth. I usually start with the zips closed and open them after a while. While they are great for highly aerobic activities, not warm enough for sedentary activities. It takes a little practice to get the zippers open without removing one, but it’s doable.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2024Size: Small/MediumVerified PurchaseThe short review:
These gloves are AMAZING. They kept my hands super warm. The zippers allowed me to cool off a bit when my hands overheated without having to take the mittens off.
The long review:
I am prone to very cold fingers, especially while running. Every pair of gloves I've ever owned has failed to prevent my fingers from freezing while out on a run. I even bought a pair with a mitten shell, and my fingers still froze while wearing them.
I saw these mittens and was a little hesitant to purchase them at first because they're a bit pricey, but I just wore them on a somewhat cold and windy run (around 20°F wind chill), and for the first time ever, my fingers didn't freeze! In fact, after about 30 minutes, my hands started to overheat!
The zippers are excellent for allowing the wearer to use their hands (for phone, locking and unlocking front door, whatever else), but additionally, they allowed me to vent a little and let some cold air in when my hands started overheating. Having them unzipped let a bit of air in without my skin being directly exposed to the elements. Then, when the wind died down a little, I poked my fingers out all the way to let them cool off. Then, when the wind picked up again, I tucked them back into the gloves and zipped them up. These mittens are a game changer.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2025Size: Small/MediumVerified PurchaseWarm lining, definitely water resistant, Kept hands warm in high 20’s morning’s and if you need a little more warmth they are roomy enough to put your hand warmers in and they move down enough to keep the finger tips warm.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2023Size: Small/MediumVerified PurchaseI like the mittens but the zipper is kinda hard to open..like it needs a longer zipper pull or something..i use them mostly riding my bike and i hate to stop just to take them off(i usually end up using my teeth and thats both comfortable) ..they do a great job of keeping my hands warm one my hands are good and warm i tend to leave the zipper open so I can stick my fingers out and cool them off since I feel like they are sweating sometimes..
- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2022Size: Small/MediumVerified PurchaseI have had these gloves now for a couple of weeks and LOVE them! I’ve used them on runs from low 20’s to low 40’s as well as back country skiing in the high teens to high 30s. For skiing I do wear liners under these mittens to keep my hands warm whilst ripping skins off and on but the fact that I can so easily unzip my hands free for this task and not worry about losing my gloves in the process is amazing! And then once skins are on, pop my hands back in these mittens and I am warm and ready to go! Game changer!
For running, the option to free my hands to get my phone, water, snack, is so great! Not to mention if it is a warmer day, being able to unzip to let a little air in, or take your hand out the zipper entirely is huge. Based on my experience with these gloves I’d say they’ll start to be too warm for me on runs over 42F. That’s when I’ll probably switch back to just my liners. But to finally have great gloves that serve two purposes for Winter, I could not be happier!

5.0 out of 5 stars Erster Eindruck: sehr gut
