The 4 star is not for the product. I love it. Its for the packing. The product was thrown to a big box with amother item and this is how I received it. Also, this product always includes a cleasing cloth (when bought directly from Elemis at least) and it was missing.

However, I notice that I still have eyemake up around my eyes after using this cleanser (I only use mascara and eyeliner and neither are waterproof). Maybe I need to use more product or scrub a little harder? But it hasn’t been fully removing my eye makeup but a second cleanse usually removes the rest. It doesn’t irritate my eyes, which is nice. I’m just not sure its worth it for the price.

    Alright so I know this expensive but with subscribe and save you can save 15 percent, which is the best deal you can consistently get unless you want to stock up on prime days or Black Friday, which I do not because I’m trying to cut down on clutter.

    I have dry, sensitive skin and this balm/cleanser/mask is non negotiable in my routine. I use this as a hydrating mask in the mornings and then remove with a washcloth. Makes a huge difference in dry patches and the overall comfort of my face throughout the day. I had resilient, oily skin until I turned 35 so having this gem makes it easier for me to learn how to take care of my changing skin without feeling like it is too small for my skull.

    I wear tinted water resistant sunscreens and waterproof mascaras and this removes everything like a dream. I do give myself a little massage as the balm melts into my skin and then add water to rinse everything away. I have found that taking the time to massage the balm into an oil gets everything off my face and I do not need to double cleanse.

    Since I use this product as a 3 in 1 I find the price very reasonable and it cuts down on counter clutter. Subscribe and save gives a great year round discount. If you have reactive or dry skin, give this a shot and use all 3 functions to see how it works for you. I honestly wish I had tried this sooner.
